DeeBee420's Misadventures in Coco

So I saw the post saying "please don't post in people's diaries unless asked"

Post away in here guys, I encourage it and appreciate the banter/advice

So at the moment... I have 2x 25 litre buckets with holes drilled in them full of Coco brick buffered with 150% solution of CalMag. Got to drain the last one when I get back, and set them in the tent.

The tent is a DR120W 120 x 60 with 3 TGL Star 60 COBs from TodoGroLED here in Spain.

Nutes are going to be Terra Aquatica Flora Duo Grow & Bloom, Ripen and CalMag on standby.

First strain I'll be experimenting with is either going to be Orange Bud - Dutch Passion or Skywalker Ghost OG - Big Head Seeds.

Both plants will be topped above the 6th node and then quadlined until they reach the edges of the pot, then flipped to flower and left to grow vertically from there.

I've done this a few times now with some really great results!



Here's the Coco on the second run of 8 hours soaking in the CalMag to buffer the cation exchange sites.

Got everything set up and in place last night. Just need to recalibrate my EC pen and hope it still works, soak some seeds and we're off!
