Damn now I find a slick DWC setup to do. Now I really have no clue which way to go. I still think Ebb is the way to go for having 10 plants though. 10 Plants in DWC would be alot of air pumps. So Im still deciding, but I got a month or so still to go b4 I start the build so. Im gonna keep researching for feeding times and nutes for Ebb. Any ideas are welcome.

Stoned,

the ebb and flow is really simple and effective. using canna aqua nutes is also about the simplest nute-op out there. one pump set for 6 feed times from 30 minutes after lights-on to 30 minutes before lights-off, another pump to keep circulation (optional), that's it!

i use a homemade aeroponic system,i like it
but as mentioned before, watch out for power outages
with ebb and flow this is not really an issue
i find myself misting the roots when the power goes out

lots of good info from you guys thanks. I think Im gonna go with a DWC for now, but I really want to build a ebb. Just cant afford it right now.

So what will I need to run 8 5 gallon buckets for DWC? Im also running a 1000w HPS.

Ive read that you have to watch the temp of your reservoir pretty carefully with the dwc and similar methods where the roots stay submerged. If the water gets over a certain temp algea starts to form and can rui your plants. I'd look at a few threads to get the real temp but i think it was over 80. So if you anticipate tempetures over that and you dont plan on using supplemental cooling maybe go ebb
