Decided to Get My Hands Wet Again

alright spit. this is what we have got so far. these are from too different plants and just some quick pics. there is some good looking sugar on all of the bud sites. I have them baking under a 400 watt hps system from HTG Supplies. that place rocks and everyone in the NE US should try them out. I had a problem with nute burn but all was fixed. here pretty soon I am going to have to put the trees on supports. the bottom sites are getting pretty heavy and I don't want them to snap off. so I just have to stake them and tie them up thats all. I also decide on how I was going to harvest this one also. I am going to top it when the top colas are done and let the bottom fill out more. then harvest it. my boy has a new way to harvest and I am going to give it a shot. it is pretty active and it should only take about 3-4 days to dry the tree trimmings.

hell I forget what day it is and am too lazy to do the math. got a pic of one of the colas growing. I liked the breathtaking glow. made it look like we were in Heaven or something. the more I sit here and think about it, I like to take pictures. Oh well, moving on. the second pic is a good place to do business with. fast, discreet, and friendly. what more can a stoner ask for! I don't believe that bigbud is supposed to have tri's like this but oh well the more the merrier I always say!

oh yeah almost forgot. I got some nute burn, it happens. flushed 2 days after giving the nutes and all is well. This is what your trees are going to look like BIGBUD

haven't updated in awhile so here goes. they need watered tonight so gona drop some nutes in there. the buds are forming nicely. little slow but they are comming along though. got a pic of one of them. compairing last grows to this one, each plant should yield over an ounce easily. this is the only part of growing that sucks, the waiting game. got a plant that is not pictured that is going to be a beast. they are 51 days into flowering. this strain takes between 8 - 10 weeks. the more I look at them, the more I realize that the 10 week mark is very plausible. i am willing to wait though for beasty size buds. on the pic you can see the nute burn. they are fine now. the soil is setting areound 6.8 - 7.0. I am going to drop it some tonight by introducing 6.4 water. gona try to keep this updated more now that I have more time. PEACE!

forgot to say that they smell great. never smelled like this before. not skunky at all. really sweet with a hint of grapes to it. makes my mouth water lol

you didnt say where you got you seeds from? or maybe you did but i just missed

like the idea of toping it then letting the bottom carry on for a few day be good to see how that turns out

i went ahead and gave them a nute feeding tonight. i am alittle worried cuz they are behind in growth. i had to do an emergency flush that threw everything out of sync. probably gona take about another week of growing to get where they need to be.

I like the ghetto way of doing things. I can respect someone who can take what he has and make some quality marijuana. I went to wrote down everything and made another quick shopping list so I can go and get a couple things you mentioned that Im missing. Well keep on growing and blowing brotha.

I hit a snag. I think I have rootbound. gona pull off a few tricks to see if I can pull this one out. i'll let you all know how it is going to end up.

does weed like a dry medium,or just slightly moist etc.Any feedback would be great and you look like your doin` great!cheers

both, the roots asorb water so it needs a moist medium. the roots also need to breathe so it needs a dry medium. the most common problem with new growers is not knowing when to water. they think the soil always has to be moist. the soil also needs to dry out so the roots can asorb O2. a good indicator of when your trees need some drink is when the soil is dry, you pick up the pot it is in and it feels light as all hell, and the trees show signs of wilting. you can take alot of the guess work out of it if you just buy a water meter. sorry for carrying on like that. BTW, the trees are out of their shock (thought it was rootbound until I ckecked out the bottome of the pot). I picked up some heavy flowering nutes to push them along and everything is on the up and up. PEACE!

meat i remember asking you about this in a different thread... but what exactly goes in the carbon scrubber... activated carbon i get that... but where can i get that from and what exactly is it... little tiny charcole like objects about the size of mouse poop? lol best example i could come up with.. thanks man peace

they best place to find mouse poop is a pet store. hell even walmart carries it. you are just looking for activated carbon. if you cannot find, ask it is a common item sold for fish aquariums.
