Another of the principle problems with PF is that the places where your spores germinated are lower on nutrient by the time the entire cake is colonized. This does not happen with grain as for the most part each kernel comes to rediness at the same time.

Probably won't happen since it's mainly a bud forum. But it's always fun to see a new thread with someone growing mushrooms.

There are plenty of primarily mushroom grow sites around, all of them varying degrees of good. I like to think people come to this portion of RIU for the variety of topics. I don't know if a mushroom growing section would be so interesting after a while. I mean, why not have a cactus growing section, and an extraction growing section, and... well, that's all I can think of.

for the spores you can buy them online and ship to US most are companies in the US. it isnt illegal to have the spores its only illegal to grow the illigal species of mushrooms. most spores are used for science study
