Deary me i hate subgenres :(
Oh and just because youve seen the title of the thread, dont let it put you off to not listening to the track! kiss-ass

But yeah!
i made thisun in collab with a lad from the UG forum, ANY guitarist should know what UG is, if not then gay. simple as!

Errm, we swapped riffs over guitar pro 5.2, then when we decided it was how we wanted it he used VST plugins and EZdrummer to make it sound a tad more real, Propper recording will follow soon!
Wrote the lyrics today, your not seeing them though as im not done. (perfectionist seen?)

ANYWAY

i fucking love metal man, im really into Death Metal (such as Nile, The Faceless, Deicide, Cannibal Corpse, Meshuggah) as well as Tech Death (Necrophagist, Cryptopsy, the latest Job For a Cowboy album) and Sludge Metal (Gojira). Not so much into the core side of things but I do like some songs by Whitechapel and Carnifex, as well as various other deathcore songs.
I'm not a guitarist, I'm a drummer but I have learned A LOT by being in a band for only 2 years so far (band is called Deathbound Horizon, use to play Metalcore/Groove metal stuff but our new stuff is Technical/Melodic Death Metal) and I just wanna say that the song sounds rad man. You just using 6 strings though? Great polyrythm at the begining too. It sounds very core to me as well, but it is the core stuff worth listening too. Keep up the great writing man.

Meshuggah are win in my books, also quite like deicide and ive loved jfac since forever so yeah haha :p new album's by far the best though :)

yeah just 6 strings, im after an ibanez rg7321 though. gorgeous 7 string beast ;D

yeah i kept it 'core' as you get the problem of people liking the first bit then getting bored of poly's and impressive production. So theres a bit of something for everyone kinda?
Cheers though, any type of crit is good to me :)
Im writing a new one at the mo, its got some meshuggah style riffs, bits of poly, plently of blast beats, few breakdowns and a shitload of Djent ;D

Again, ta mate!

Not bad.Beter then I thought it would be.Cause theyres no vocals lol.I like some bands, but I can't stand it when they growl through 80% of theyre songs.especially while they try to sing & growl at the same time.It starts to irritate me after awhile.I enjoy the music more.I just never got into the way most of them sing.

BrokeFYC - hella lotta breakdowns, your band reminds me of Liferuiner. Which is good, so kudos:weed:

Smokey - theres always room, im no bassist so i dont put grooves to my stuff, i just follow the guitars to thicken shit up

Mjisgood - Cheers mayn, i do know what you mean with the vocals, not to everyones liking. But you can put your point across more using them, you can purge a lot more emotion into your music too. Like i said though, not to everyones liking but ta you 3 for having a listen :)
