I went out to Sam's and bought a bunch of Dawn soap... a bunch... and sent it out to the animal cleanup folks down there in Plaquemines.

I heard the governor of Alabama say on the news last night that the best way to help these areas is to go there and spend some money. Everyone who would normally be vacationing in these coastal areas has gone elsewhere this year, and the economic disaster is what is really going to hurt. Also, the poor fishermen are really going to take a beating. It's just so depressing.
