deals going down right next door

How would you know if he's selling weed or something else? I'd just mind my own business because at the end of the day it has no effect on you.

I would politely ask him to have his friends park away from your house or w/e the problem may be. I'm sure most people would rather have someone ask them nicely to do something, rather then having authorities out giving fines or arresting people. If your cool about it, I'm sure they will understand. If not THEN maybe call someone about the parking problem. It doesn't sound like you have any evidence that drug dealing is going on, so unless they are blatantly doing something illegal and dangerous or destroying your property, I wouldn't make a big fuss about it.

seriously maybe i should park my shit up in your damn yard and deal drugs in front of your kids and family, I bet your pussy asses say something then, point is something needs to be done before a drive-by accures and the OP is dead anyway with nothing to do with it because said drug dealer ripped the wrong dude off, it happens daily all across the U.S.

Don't do fuck.

If the neighbors are being that stupid, they will be pinched eventually.

Just follow the rule of "No tell. No smell. No sell."

The coppers will not find out about you unless you allow them to do so.

im half and half on staying out of it and just giving a tip. they have kids running around all the time. plus if i do start growing my own meds i cant have shit like that going down. im the type of person to keep to myself so it would be like there isnt anything here anyway. except for what ever animals try to come into my yard and steal my fruits. point being i lived in a house where a dude delt constantly, and was around people who got a ton of shit because someone wanted to speed. im not to concerned about the traffic right now but for the future its just to much to have with their kids running around and my meds at risk 15 plants at 200 a piece( what i would pay for the meds at min) 6,000 i could save(minus what ever it takes for electricy) yeah i dont think i want to see my door busted having nothing to do with them, landlord gets a call if they do happen to bust in the wrong door. allot of shit i like to avoid if possible. i know they were here first but fuck kids at the home not their home their rents and the only one on the block. wouldnt care if it was most of the hood dealing.

I can't believe people are saying to snitch just because cars are inconviently parked and traffic has increased.
This kind of thing is not just a question of a few more cars. Its bad people coming and going at odd hours (some desperate for drugs, some already on drugs, some armed, etc) and potentially decreased property values. If someone is running a sell operation, its usually only a question of time before some hopped up crackhead tries to rob them for drugs, money, or guns. Now you have the potential for bullets flying around the neighborhood. With a bunch of addicts coming and going at all times of the night, now YOUR property is at risk for simple burglary, or worse.

Its the "don't crap where you eat" rule, and having once lived in an apt where I could look out the window and watch heroin deals go on in the parking lot in front of me, I can tell you, you don't want these people around where you live if you can help it.

You're going to send somebody to jail and fuck up their life and their fam's life for something so simple, that many of us here have probably at one point done ourselves?
You bet I would. . .and no, I'm betting most of us here have NOT been running conspicuous narcotics sale operations from our homes.

Calling the cops t wouldn't necessarily be my FIRST action, but that's highly situation dependent. If I were sufficiently concerned about the safety of my family or myself, and didn't think the matter would be resolved in a different way, I'd drop that dime that in a heartbeat and not miss a lick of sleep over it.

And if I did, by the way, it would be this idiot sending THEMSELF to jail.

If that's even what they're doing. As someone else has said before me "You do not remove a hangnail with a hammer".
If that ISN'T what's going on, then what difference does it make if someone tips the police? The cops aren't going to bust someone over a non-existent drug operation merely on the word of an anonymous tipster!

You need to talk to him, something along the lines of casually mentioning you've seen some suspicious cars with gov't plates driving and parked about.
That's a perfectly fine approach too.

As an earlier poster mentioned, it comes down to how well you know the person in question, and what your relationship is with them.

If you know them well, and you're on good terms, you can just talk to them, and say "look, I don't know what's going on here, and I don't really care to know, but there are all these cars coming and going all night long, and it looks a little odd. If I've noticed it, I guarantee others have as well. Whatever it is you're doing, you might want to cool it or move it to a more secure place." If they don't heed that advice, whatever may come later is on their head.

If you don't know them, or know that they aren't particularly friendly, there is NO point whatever bringing attention to YOURSELF by talking to them. You can send an anonymous letter stating the above in more forceful terms, and/or notify the cops (or both).

Note that calling the cops does NOT necessarily mean that they're going to come riding in with a SWAT team in and bust this guy. At best, they'd open an investigation, requiring surveillance, development of evidence, etc. At worst, they might do absolutely nothing at all (hell. . .they could even be in on it).

Midway in between (and actually quite a likely possibility), a cop could simply ride by, knock on this guy's door, and say "We know you're dealing drugs out of this place, and if its still happening 24 hours from now, we're going to toss you in jail, AND seize the property in forfeiture". That's a very polite way of asking them to stop, and hearing it put that way, the neighbor would probably heed the request.

Fuck em. Call the cops. If they wanna be blatant about it then you owe them nothing.

Also all these people calling you a snitch need to develope a mature mentality. Real life isn't hood life.

I'll snitch on every one of you fuckers if you move in next door and start blatantly moving narcotics or large amounts of bud.

I am a firm believer in respect and he owes them none.

Casually mention the place is being staked out- good suggestion. Could say hey bro I'm a little uncomfortable here with the way the cops have been watching this place. Or I'd move. A snitch is good for nothing in my book. Karma is a bitch. Do you know if theyre selling heroin, meth or crack? Pot dealers usually have harmless customers compared to hard drugs. Say you call the cops and tip them off, these guys get busted and figure you for the one who informed the cops, they'll be out on bail the same day probably and things could get dangerous for you bro. I faced a 30 year bid once over some punk who wanted to be a big shot with the cops, there were no drugs involved. Later on the dude had a near fatal accident- what comes around goes around.

If you know the dude and he's cool just go talk to him and warn him that all that activity is really sus[icious and he's going to get in tyrouble sooner or later. Let him know he's putting you in danger as well if you're growing. Just be his friend and show him how to be more discrete.

right so what about there being kids at the house. so far nothings gone wrong i still feel the need to do something but then this risks putting the kids into foster care. ive heard a lot of shit about our foster care system

Foster care is the most unimaginable hell you can imagine...unless it is a serious "you can hear the kids screaming while their heads are held on the stove kind of thing"...I would never get any kid involved in the system...for real...so unless their parents are torturing them then the state is not who to call for help...

and in the scenario I mentioned there was never any crime associated with the high amount of traffic, just because the dealers won't let the tweakers cause a ruckus where they deal from...so the really bad guys kept the low level guys in check...I had never actually dealt with anyone that i knew was an "actual" drug dealer, so I was wary, but my ex-brother-in-law had started talking to them and said that they had good prices on weed...so I started walking next door to get my smoke..it was convenient and they gave me an awesome white girl deal...lol. I thought everything was cool...I mean I knew they were criminals, but we all break the law...but then me and my ex split up and it was just me at the house...and that is when the trouble started...the cops came and wrecked the trap house taking their drugs money and guns...and not for the first time, but the first time i witnessed...Anyway the guys got to where they would come to my house if they saw my husband's car was gone...which wasn't that bad...I mean this is where I started to get the creeps...but then me and my husband split and he became my ex husband...so his car wasn't there at all...anyway one evening the guy calls for me to come hang out with him and I tell him I can't because like I said starting to feel like this is more than I know how to deal with...anyway I get in the shower...after I am done I remember that I lef tmy hairdryer inthe other bathroom...so I grab a towel and leave my room, and as I walk into my living room I can't help but notice that my house was filled with people I didnt know...SO I run back in my roo m, get dressed, and then go out to try to find who is in charge of this shindig and who all these people are...I was pretty much told to just chill out and enjoy the company...in my house...

Anyway long story medium sized these guys had decided to move their outfit to my house and I was supposed to just sit there while they dealt meth and speed and crack and blow and weed and X out of my house...I mean they were willing to pay the bills and the boss wanted me to carry his 14th mixed child...because there is a heirarchy in drug dealing...at least with these guys it was...there was the main guy, and then he had 4 guys under him, and they all had people that they paid to help them from time to time so on and so forth...anyway They started giving me crack cocaine to keep me happy and quiet and more receptive to becoming the live in whore I guess...anyway some guy came over and was like you don't seem the type to smoke crack...and I was like what?! and so I packed up and jus moved...as I leaving all of my worldly posessions behind minus 3 bags of clothes this freaking guy is like sorry you have to leave...we never meant for you to have to move... Well, what in the Great Blue Fuck did you think was going to happen?! and I left...I tried calling the police within a few days of my ex leaving and do you know what it said? There was a recording that said the police department had been disbanded...there was something about missing funds...go figure...this was in Swansea, SC...and I will never ever ever go back there ever! I was terribly naive, but I learned my lesson...and well really I got to take a quick life lesson in hard drugs and how to recognize them...so that is good I guess...I learned a lot, but for real you never know what you are dealing with and it is best to just keep to yourself...unless you fancy that you are as big a tough guy as the guy causing the issues...if you are then go tell them to get it together, but if you are not sure of how serious this guy might be then it is best to just not find out...in my experience...even if people are nice to you and you know they are bad people...don't go all after school special...it is no good.

totally disagree with all these snitches ..... no offense man but if this guy is serving people from his house for a long time as you say and no neighbors have said anything to the police then you live on a shitty block...i would move..... i don't agree at all with snitching on a guy who is probably a dumb ass junkie but he has not caused you any harm and neither have his custies ..... i cold see a regular joe working a 9-5 and calling the cops on this guy but not you..you are a grower..how wold you like it if a neighbor smelled something and ratted you out? if it were me i would say listen man " i don't give a fuck what you do ...but don't be serving people next door to where my wife and kids sleep, the neighbors all know whats up and asked me to talk to you before they take any further action" if he is too dumb to clean things up then fuck him and broadcast his business to the neighbors ...not the police
