Dead Plants with healthy plants in DWC.

I have a super closet and 2 DWC tanks. I have eight plants in each tank. I am about 3 weeks into flower.

Its an LED setup and I have kept the water clean, PH balanced and not nuked them with tons of nutes.

There were a few smaller plants that seemed to struggle and I really tried to keep them alive but as of last night I lost 4 plants.

Their roots are completely intertwined with all the healthy plants. I cut all the dead leaves off...

What am I supposed to do with them? Are the dead plant roots going to die and cause problems for the rest of the healthy plants?

I am really concerned as I cant seem to find any advise anywhere on this subject...

Thanks and appreciate the advice in advance.

if the plants are completely dead, then you need to remove them imo, try submerging them and untangling them as much as possible, slip out the dead plants, and most importantly know what killed them and don;t let it get to the other ones. h2o2 would help in your case to prevent root rot, you could go easy on the cleaning, leave the tangled roots, remove the dead plants with their root base, and dose the h2o2, but that is one thing i never tried and cannot tell the outcome, but if it was a smallish grow in mid flower, i might try that on the hopes that with good airpupmps and steriliser i can go through flowering

If it was me id leave it. Your 3 weeks into flower so cutting the dead roots away will stunt the other plants that have them intertwined.
Id just change the res more often to stop any bacteria from taking over thats growing on the dead roots. If the other plants are healthy they will be able to withstand it.

how dead are the plants? You can try to trim some leaves and keep em half going until harvest- at least enough to keep the roots alive and defended.
