I guess I meant that it doesn't have the circular dripper thing that disperses the solution throughout the medium (though you can buy those online).

Also note that the water line is way below the medium in the waterfarm. From my understanding, you were going to keep it up in the root zone, right? Thats what I meant when I asked if you thought it would be more effective. I think that it's a great idea - I was just wondering why they use the dripper vs. just dwc...

BTW, i wasn't implying you stole the idea. If you look online, there are so many fucking variations of hydro setups out there, a person would be hard up to come up with something original in this day and age.

One thing you don't see though is ultrasonic/nebulizer mister aero setups. I've read a few journals where people had trouble with the roots drying out. I guess that that is where the technology will be heading... Perfect that, and you may have found the "Next big thing". (but wait, I think I'm fucking up between the threads again :) )

ok so i went and made the bucket inside a bucket DWC thing
i have a 1500 litre per hour pump : think its about 420-480 gallon per hour
yes in a 12 litre bucket (5 gallon)
draining was an issue.
after i put 3 25mm drain lines into the bucket and it still wasnt enough i spat the dummy and gave up.

back to the drawing board :(
