You can compost cactus in around 60 days here during the summer. I had to read comments on YouTube but either; Burying or Solarizing works well. Was going to see if the black soldier fly larvae would eat succulents. My lady hates the idea so I’m looking to mealworms as an alternative. The trout around here love em, a nice bonus. Plus the beetles can be fed to my poultry.

Almost done with this bed. Have to get more rocks and rubble. What I’m saving in money I’m paying for in labor though, heat warning today. I’m gonna add some studs across the post to keep the rocks from causing that bow.

Can’t wait to start working with more balanced hybrids and Sativa dominant, so tired of Indica everything. I really favor the old stuff more but that may just be personal opinion.



Mushroom Compost doing its thing like I mentioned. Good stuff and <2$ per 1.5 cubic feet.

Mexican(29) & Cabo (5) Germinated.
Going to open pollinate the clone only varieties.
Open pollination should end up with around 15 males. Most of these clone only lean Indica so this should make them a more even hybrid since Mexican is Sativa.

The Midtown outside started flowering already so I’m gonna clone her and bring one indoors. 2-3 weeks to flower. The Mexican are Sativa so I want them matured enough to flower w/o delay. Some of these strains run close to 8 week so I want time for seeds to ripen. Defoliated, sprayed, and cleaned tent.

Happy 4th of July.

Should be flowering in 2 weeks. Will start next chapter of Days on Dagobah with flowering. Next I’m going to open pollination F2 either the Top Dawg Sour Diesel BX4 or Exotic Genetics TrapStar. Probably the SDBX4 so I can have diesel to smoke for the foreseeable future.

Just looking for a keeper with Cabo.

Midtown Madness B in Reveg now, trying to get the A back. Soaked her in Neem, Castile, & Rosemary Oil with a very strong root drench.
Transplanting all of my Mexican Seeds into one 5 gallon except the (5) Cabo San Luis.

Took clones of everything and building a grow box (2’x2’x28”) for my clones. Using a 40 watt 1’x1’ LED.


Didn’t feel like using a blowtorch to heat sterilize yesterday so I just gave each plant their own new razor.

Going to get my temps up to around 80F but everything else is running smooth.

Just using the title Mexican for my seeds. That’s all I know for sure about them is they came from Mexico. Not saying their the same genetics “Mexican” you’d find in Legends like Haze & Skunk. Just trying to use them to counter poly hybridization.

KISS. Tired of mixing a bunch of stuff so now we try this Old Head’s way. I have Cal/Nit, MAP, MKP, Pot/Sulf, Mag/Sulf, Etc. But if I have to use all that I’m just going back to Jacks or more likely making my own.

I’m very interested in diesels after my experience with Midtown Madness, Got a pack of Karma’s Sowahh coming in with some Oldschoolgenetics Old Sour Red.

Notes on Plants:
The Stardawgs are very finicky. Super light feeders. The Corey more so in my exp.

Ghost OG is very slow in Veg and an absolute forest. Node-spacing so tight they look co-dependent

The Mexican seeds leaves are much broader then I expected but we shall see if this is consistent.

That’s the last of it. Wasn’t planning on the Sowahh, Sweatshop (ECSD x Alcatraz OG), or Dairy Queen (2014 stock of UK Cheese x Space Queen [Dude]). Like I said, I am really liking Diesels. Got the Dairy Queen to F2 and hunt a UK cheese pheno down the road. Dropped the Hippie Haze. The Mango A5 is (Mango Nigerian x A5 BX1) so an F2 I should be able to pull phenos of both parents for the haze line.

I just got some Mr. Nice SSH gifted to me. I hope to start them pretty soon. I've heard great things about the strain.

You shouldn't need anything else if your water is decent. I use Maxi exclusively. It's just so simple

Yeah I smoke it about 15 years ago and it is top 3 all time for me. I’ll definitely watch you grow em out when you pop em. That’s good news on the Maxi too. A lot of old head growers tell me to use it, I’m gonna pop into your journal and give it a good read when I get home.

Feeding:
Soil Drench with starting dose of MaxiGro. I used .5 tsp per gallon on most. Slightly more or less depending on stage of growth. 5ml of Neem/ 1.25ml per gallon of hemp Castile soap, Ph: 6.1. Watered to runoff. I then sprayed the plants with neem and hemp castile soap. Clean tent with Neem with dawn soap and finished with bleach.

Stardawg Guava and Chimera 2 have roots. Forgot to put OGKB BX1 F2 on my seed list. Producers is sending me 30 seeds of Jesus OG because of the July promotion.

Haven’t flowered her out. A bud picked her up from GreenDragon Co-op in California, It’s technically Mendo Breath F3 Derrick Green Dragon Cut. Best of 500 seed hunt after an F3 was done to Gage Greens Mendo Breath F2s. You can search her by using the name D’s Mendo. Must have changed the name recently.
