Day 81 and I'm stuck - First Grow.

I've learned so much from you all, lurking and reading everything posted here, Thank you!! But now I'm at my wits end and really concerned for my first grow. She's a bagweed photo at 24 days of flower after 61 days in Veg under a SF2000 at 12-14 inch distance in a small 2x3 tent with a 4 inch exhaust fan/filter. Soil is Fox Farm Ocean mixed with Happy Frog - 3 gallon(5 now) 12/12 light for schedule with 78 degrees 55%-60% humidity. City water PH down to 6.0 she takes about 1/2 gallon a day carefully on soil only.

First adjustment, a month ago - Sensi Cal/Mag 7.5ML per gallon. Didn't really help
Second - Two weeks ago started her on 19-4-23. 1 tsp/gallon Didn't really help.
Third - This weekend, I gently moved her from a 3 gallon to 5 gallon with extra Ocean Forest, no change noticed yet, but she took move without issues.

The leaf problem was mostly at the bottom early on and I would snip them off but now, the last week it's everywhere. Any thoughts or idea's to save or improve my first grow? I wonder if the SF2000 is too much light in a small tent and she's burning up or am I missing nutes? The big fan leaves all have purple stems, but not knowing what strain she is doesn't help to know if purple is okay or not. I'm not sure what to do next ...help greatly appreciated - None of those leaf issue charts seem to match up when I look at them.

im no expert but looks like you could do some pruning. remove the lower bitch ass leaves that aint getting alot of light and might as well prune the fucked up ones too. sometimes it be like that though

yeah, I've been cutting the messed up ones, but maybe a more aggressive cleanup would help. ...also looked at my light ratings again and with my small tent I'm getting 1054 PPFD at 18 inches, but I know I've been running it closer. I maybe burning her up with the light.

Looks like either nutrient burn or a cal-mag deficiency to me. If you've been heavy-feeding, try doing a flush.

Also make sure you are ph'ing your water to about 6.2 when you water.

My two cents: I would adjust your pH closer to 6.5 (you're missing good uptake otherwise). Your plant looks short on Mg; Epsom salt is your friend...and a dose of it each time you feed won't hurt. Get away from the 19-4-23....you're in flower and this is not what you want. Find something more balanced and with less N if you can. The extreme N value may be exasperating your issues. Good luck.

You are early enough in flower, that an epsom salt foliar spray could help a whole heap too. Really seems to want some magnesium. And that will help with a lot of what looks like is happening now.

i figure you would see heat stress signs if too close to a light (even blurple and mars style leds will put out a bit of heat)

Im also on my first grow (using an hlg65). I know my light reads about 490 at 12” at full power, and sometimes it seems too intense for my plants. You have over double that number, 6” higher.. so too much light could very well be stressing them out.

Can you recommend something more balanced or suggest what level NPK values should be. Also, how much epsom per gallon?

A teaspoon of epsom salt per gallon of water. Use the same amount per gallon for foliar spray too.

I'm not a soil grower, so I'm hesitant to make a suggestion for you in terms of a suitable nutrient line; sorry. I'm sure some of the soil guys and gals on this forum can help you with what works best for them.

first and second attempts at adjustments were the wrong thing to do. why did you do this, what symptoms did you see to make you think there was a problem?

I appreciate all the knowledge you have and the willingness to share with first growers. I ended up defoliating modestly, flushing with 5 gallons of 6.5 pH the last two had Epsom Salt in it. I moved the light up to 18 inches but also dimmed it a little. Just water for a little while. I’ll give her some rebound time and then reassess the situation. Thanks!!IMG_3716.jpeg

Someone suggested it was a nitrogen or cal/mag deficiency and when I tried to match it up on those troubleshooting guides, It just wasn't obvious to me. I actually never thought I'd get this far with this old bag-weed seed. I've learned a ton. Autoflowers seem like a pretty easy grow compared to this photo-girl so I'm glad I'm doing it. It's easy to get consumed with it, and when something goes wrong, its a bit scary having so much time and effort into it.
