Well here she is...I guess I just wanted to show her off since I stopped watering the hell out of her and get an opinion on the yellowing...my tent is around 80 so I'm thinkin its just a lil heat stress?

No nutes or anything yet..I did get a air pump and stones and just saw the first root poke out the bottom :hump: so stoked thx ya'll

80 shouldn't stress the plant.. you'll have rez temp issues later from that though when you get a root ball.

My closet gets up to 90*F without burning. How close are your lights?

The light is 13" away with a 600W air cooled hood, is that to close? I can touch the glass, and its not hot, but could it be to much for a new seedling?

my rez temp in 77 I know its a lil warm and I will start using the frozen bottles soon to get the temps down in the rez

Nope if your hand can touch the bottom of the light without burning or feeling discomfort then your seedling should not have a problem.

hmmm could it just be still stressed out from being waterlogged? Not sure what could make the yellowing...seems to be doing ok tho....humidity is at 41% and PH is at 6.2 I was gonna get it back down to 5.8 but its stayed constant for a cpl days so I was gonna wait to see if it goes any higher to mess with it

Seedlings dont need that much light. Move your light away and try getting your temps down a lil bit. She is fighting to get away from all that light by growing short and "twisting" their leaves so it reduces lumens recieved . Far from dead but give her some RO water with a drop of B1 vitamin or some kelp extract to get her healthy and growing.
That light should be at least 2 feet away...maybe 3

Seedlings do well under a full spectrum 13watt fluorescent 13" away...not 600W Metal Halide lol
Remember that some cannabis strains aren't accustom to full sun. Id rather have my seedlings stretch a little bit so i can build up their stalk through veg so sometimes less light is better!

K thx all for the advice Void I'm not using any nutes yet, prolly another week or so.

I didn't move the light down but I did switch the ballast to 50% will that work? That puts the output at 300W, if that is ok, then how long before I turn it up to 75% and then back to 100%?

Alrite good man, you can go ahead and add a half dose of nutes for your second week without worries.

Wait another week before you switch the ballast up. I was having seedling curling.. so I had to move my light up a bit, but it's all good.

Ok so here is an update im on day 13 does the growth seem kinda slow for almost 2 weeks? Or am I just a lil over anxious! The yellow has been there all along hasn't gone away but its not getting any worse.

Void you said add half strength nutes...I am using Oneness from Humboldt Nutes and for seedlings it says 1ML/Gal so your saying go with half that correct?

Thx as always all

very slow, you are looking like 5 days not two weeks... start germinating more and if its yellowing its probably over watered and too hot..

Yeah I had a lil problems for the 1st week light to close... way to much watering...can't believe I saved this one but this week the roots are really taking off! Hopefully it picks up on the growth...you are way ahead of me..this is also a autoflower to so I don't know if that matters or not

Yes half strength for another week.. Good choice on Oneness, I'll be using it next.

Here's one of my seedlings after a week (a couple days ago):

Move your light up a bit.. those new node leaves are curling.

cool thx I moved my light 18" away. still have it at 50% (300W) total.

problem now is I can't get my ph stable it shot way down when i added nutes...added ph up and got it to 5.8 woke up this morning and now its at 7! haha now its at 6.2 so i'm gonna leave it for now.

I do have some nice roots tho, so there is hope yet
