Day 8 and no signs of roots yet. Please HELP!!!

Here's what I've done so far, can anybody let me know if I've done anything wrong or just being impatient.

Clipped clones off of mother and soaked all clippings in water jar for a couple hours.
Filled cloner with RO water and added 25ml/gallon power clone and 10ml/gallon aqua shield.
Kept dome on cloner for 3 days. (using 2 4' t-8 6500k fluros) Water in cloner has been around 75.
Day 5 Flushed system filled with RO water and added 12.5ml/gallon thrive alive red and sprayed folaige with thrive alive green.
Day 7 Leaves have some brown spots so I flushed system and just added tap water. Put lights on 18/6. I've been folaige feeding once or twice a day and putting the dome on every once and awhile.

I dont have meters yet but I know my RO water was <7 ph with 0ppm. Does ph matter for clippings? Am I just being impatient? Had trouple with this strain before. Don't know what it is tho. Thanks for any help.

most people are lucky to get roots showing on day 10, from
what I have read and been told.
Now if you're on day 21 than it might be reason to panic some :P
I also don't think you need to change your water that much.
You could most likely leave it alone through the entire process.
Just switch it before the next batch...
what the hell do I know I have 0% experience..

The bottle of power clone I got with my cloner wasn't enough for the amount of water I needed so I decided to scratch that and run the Thrive Alive. A couple days after using the Thrive alive I had dark brown spots on some of the leaves. Decided to run plain tap water, leave the dome on and leave the light on 24/0. At least till I get roots. Any objections? Should I mess with my PH or just leave it alone???

i dip mine put themin the tray leave the dome with 24/0 light i don't mess with ph during cloneing. once i trasplant and start watering or feeding thats when i adjust my ph.

At day 11 now and 6 are popping out roots and the rest are really close. Does anybody recommend using flower nuts in the cloner or just stick with the water until they go into the aero36?

I've once worked with a strain that were pain in the a**. Always took 14 to 30 days to see roots.. So i decided not to use thise strain anymore.

Be patient!

Nobody seems to be answering your question on the PH. The answer is YES your PH needs to be correct! My PH on my clones was at 6.9 and the leaves turned yellow and I got brown spots...Once I brought it down to 5.8 range they were green and bright again.

ph 5.5
lower the light/ believe it or not but lower light keeps the photosynthesis from occurring (or her making leaves) when you want her to make roots. Yes Ph needs to be in the 5's as that is how she likes it to make roots. when you get in the 6's with Ph all nutes are available and she will start to make leaves instead of roots. By dimming the lights enough to keep her alive but not enough to make leaves you are in the right direction.
feeding is not really needed but can be done once or twice after the 8th day or so. I recommend a very weak blooming solution 1/8th to 1/16 th strength that can be used foliar style I use Hawaiian big bud and Bloom (pretty good stuff)

that is why cutting clones in flower is the best time, stops the plant growth to concentrate on rooting.
but ya i have read some were that a bloom nut can be used during cloning

Yeah you have more experience than I do so maybe your tap would work fine but then again tap water is different everywhere...My tap is Ph 8.0 with a PPM of 450...I dont touch that stuff..I just use RO water and put a few drops of PH down and I am good to go! By far the most important thing to watch out for in hydro is PH.

Thanks for all the help! Just got done setting up my aeroflo2 36. Getting excited to get these girls in there. I've done a couple grows with the ebb and grow bucket system but I'm looking foward to only veg'n for a couple weeks. I'm sure I'll have some ?'s and I'm thinking about doing a grow journal. Any experts here with the aeroflo systems???
