Day 50 slh first grow....need some advice!

Hey riu,

its my first grow....30 super lemon hazes....below are some pics, they all seem to look and smell fantastic so far, however its day fifty...should i switch lights and lighting cycle tommorow or wait ten more days??? How much difference in yield would i get>> and last but not least can anyone estimate what i might get just by looking at the pix below, just for fun folks im not stressin on my harvest lmao....just anticipating it highly!!! Heheheheh any questions plz gimmie input !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

only you can choose when to switch. i personally would wait coz i'm a vegger lol but shit i'd be gagging to get those girls into flower too!!

thanks i topped all but a few of them.....im hopin for 2 ozs per plant!!!!!!! does that sound like im shootin to high for my first time????

It really depends on how big your grow room is dude. Personally I would flower them now. They are going to get 2-3 times bigger by the time you harvest. Plus I can't see how 3X 1000w lights will really do for 30 large plants. Awesome effort on your first grow though.

thanks....im sure 3000 wts is plenty for thirty plants...afterall im not look for a half lb per plant...lol i just want two zips......doable?????

if from clone i would flower now, if from seed, wait 1~2 weeks. As already said, plants will a grow 2~3 times taller after 12/12. If environment is prestine, 2 zips per plant especially under 3k watts is a reasonable goal.

also, those look to me like their from seed, are they?(some plants look to have diff traits from either parent). Also Its a fact that the longer you veg, the more you will yield, the question is, do you have space for your plants to get that much more taller and wider. from your pics, you have a lot of horizontal room 2 work with, how high can your lights hang? take a tape measurer, measure your tallest ladies, and measure how much room you have from lights to top of canopy, and do the math

Yong mc donad has hit the nail on the head. itr really depends on how much height you have in the grow room. As you have heard already, having haze genetics means they will really stretch when the lights are changed to 12/12 atleasts double even triple in size by harvest. so if you have the vertical room let them veg for longer. If you have limited height put them into flower now and hope they dont hit the lights ( you could always LST and tie down etc if they get tooo tall). The more they veg the more they will produce. Also make sure they have enough root space 5 gal should do. BEST OF LUCK!! AND AWESOME FIRST TIME EFFORT MATE 30 SLH

yes, these slh's are from seed, i have 8 ft cielings witch gives me about 4 and half ft. of verticle grow space......i have tons of horizontal space so i definately plan on lst'ing when the time is right, also i topped a majority of the plants (thankfully). The plants that were not topped are significantly taller and less bushy than the plants that have been topped. i switched the lights today....and hey, even if i dont end up with two ounces per plant, I will definitly improve whatever it is i did wrong, on my next grow. I hope to be able to make my investment back at least tho..lol so far ive spent almost $5,000 on this room, either way tho, Im loving every minute of my new hobby!

nice! good 2 see your gettin results! Are you doin a perpetual? I would suggest pullin one of your plants out (the fastest and most healthy) and cloning it so that all your plants are the same phenotype and grow more evenly. lookin awesome dude
