Can I still top it ?!! It's on 9th node!!!
Other plant topped it already when it had 5 nodes.

You can top and FIM it anytime. People recommend topping after the 5th node because if you do it earlier it will take it too long to recover since the plants root system is not strong yet.
Also you should avoid topping in flower because the it gives plant unpredictable growth.
