Hey this may seem like a really stupid question but I have 4 heavyweight fruit punch under a 400w mh and a 400w hps just figured both at the same time would be cool to try out but the buds swelled up to this size and have seemed stuck there im just wondering if they will get bigger our are they done , I know they shouldn't be finished as hwfp is mostly sativa and is going to take a while ,just wondering if this stall is normal and if I should expect them to get any bigger or not , any pointers greatly appreciated , temp sits at about 77-80 degrees F and humidity remains around 40 percent I stopped fertilizing and am flushing now with ph (6.2) water with roughly 240ppm just from the tap (will post pics from phone)

lol thanks is it hwfp? I guess all im asking is will they continue to swell for the last 20 days or is this pretty much what im looking at? im going to get a magnifying glass to check the trichomes but I know they aren't ready it just went from getting noticeably larger every day to what seems like a stand still

They don't look done to me, they look great though! Just water them for a while, watch the trichomes, get a microscope magnifier for your cell phone, they are stupid cheap. I hope my Heavyweight FP looks this nice soon, it is blowing up in my flower tent right now. I bet those are going to still grow, but watch for collapsing, cloudy, and amber trichs. The stigmas will probably start to change color too, but it depends what you want effect-wise. If your trichomes are growing let it ride for a bit, what week of flower are you in?

this will be the beginning of week 5 so ive definetly got some time for maturity im just hoping they get a little bigger in size but either way thanks man il keep an eye , where is the best place to get a magnifier I checked Walmart and didn't really find anything that seemed suited for the job shouldn't need too many X magnification should you? maybe like 3x?

sorry end of week 5 ,depends when I measure "flowering time" from , if its the day I switched to 12/12 it would be almost week 7 but ive been going from when I first could tell physically that they were flowering roughly 5 weeks

OK 7 weeks of 12/12 is pretty close, but they might need another week. I saw day 40 in the title a second ago, derp.

I don't know, they may still fill out a bit and if you want a mellow high rather than speedy let it go longer. I think you're pretty close, but I use the trichomes to tell me when to chop.

ok thanks il definetly get some sort of magnifier sorry bout the confusion with the dates I guess that is most of my problem , not knowing when to call the "start" of my flowering days because after switching to 12/12 they took almost 2 weeks to make any noticeable change so "day 40" in my title was more or less a guess

As far as I know the standard is to count from when you flip light schedule to 12/12, but I could be wrong. Either way I think you're close but not quite there.
Looks great, post a smoke report!

Btw dont feed them or feed very light because this is about the time they might get some nute burn since there not intakin then ur gonna compound it with over feeding. Also check ph and start up in 2 weeeks again with light feed till harvest.
Oh and flush by giving just water for a week before harvest. No nutes.

IMO it looks like you have a couple weeks left. If you stop fertilizing now they aren't going to grow anymore. Remember, flush is to remove salts/etc from soil and plant. If mine looked that way I would add 1 more week of fert then flush.

There is so much wrong about both of those posts, honestly I don't have time to cover it all. Just continue what you're doing until you get about half cloudy/amber trichomes then chop. Flushing is largely a myth, but if it makes you feel better go for it.
