its really weird that the growth stop i think i might stuff it up and redo all over again using a proper rockwool, this time use a grodan

Is a picture possible. Read about germinating seeds, compare what you have with what they show. If you are buying from eBay u will be able to get everything u need for growing. So no excuses next time lol.
Put the seeds straight into pre soaked rockwool next time it does away with having to handle tap roots and spreading germs.
