Hello all, and thanks for taking the time to look at my garden! I have a Cfl cabinet and would like to share it with you all. Started from seed March 10 2009. I took 6 cuttings off one of my plants they all seem to be doing well. I used shultz clone powder. This is a low budget grow as well. Grow area is a cabinet i had laying aroun my house. Painted the inside white with pain i had from a recent house remodel. The only thing that reall cost money was the cfl's less then $100 worth.

I will be using some advanced nutrients. I just got a Ph tester for the soil and also geting some PH up and PH down

only think i would do is add 2-3 more cfls, but nice use of space flood that little grow area with light and you will get some denser nuggs

i am going to the hardware store tomorow to get 3 65 watt cfl bulbs they are equal to a 350 watt incandesent

now your thinking!!!!! do you got a little fan in there to keep temps nice? any intake or outtake for vent?

Yezir, 1 inlet fan 2 outlet fans due to high temps. they are pc fance converted to 110 will be adding real fans soon, temps stay about 73-78 degress depending on when my ac kicks on

expect temps to go up a bit with the newlight your getting maybe set the ac a lil lower

Great start to what will surely be an excellent thread! I'll be watching. ;-)

+Reps!

CFL Question: Should I be having trouble sprouting seedlings from germed seeds using three 42W 2700K CFLs? :dunce:

Thanks! :bigjoint:

my seeds took 4 days to sprout some ppl get sprouts in 1 probably depends on strain and germination method. but dont quote me. I started my seedlings with a single 32 watt cfl

new pics when i turn my lights on in about a hour as well. going to take more cuttings and see if the sex is startign to show at all. it would make a good 4/20 to have them all b female and showing sex lol
