Hydro Growers:
1. Are you growing from seed or clones?seed
2. How old are your plants? flowering 16 days, about 70 days total from seed
3. How tall are your plants? LST'd-- and about 2" tall (with the training)
4. What type of hydro system are you using? recirculating DWC
5. What brand/type of nutrients are you using? general hydroponic's maxigrow and maxibloom
6. What is the Ph of your nutrient solution? Currently about 5.9
7. What is the PPM/EC of your tap water? i use RO water, ppm around 25-50
8. What is the PPM/EC of your nutrient solution? Currently around 350
9. What is the temperature of your nutrient solution? 68 F
10. Does your PPM/EC show a rise or fall when you do your daily PPM check? Rise
11. Does your pH show a rise or fall when you do your daily check?Rise
12. Do you foliar feed or spray your plants with anything?Nope
13. What kind of lights do you use and how many watts combined? (HPS, MH, fluorescent, halogen, incandescent "plant lights") 250w HPS, and some flourescent
14. How close are your lights to the plants? HPS good 8", flourescents are inches away
16. What is the temperature and humidity in your grow space? 75F during day, 70F at night, RH around 30%
17. Have you noticed any insect activity in your grow space? no
18. How much experience do you have growing? first time hydroponic, grown soil for a few years in the past

Only one of the plants is showing the claw, the other one is unaffected. Have been using just GH Maxigrow (grow nutrients) because I read that plants need a lot of nitrogen in the first two weeks of flowering, I haven't switched to Maxibloom yet.

Need help pleeeaaassee! it looks sad

i was reading the journal and noticed you do something i was taught never to do. You adjust your PPM during the week, after your original feeding. All the info i have indicates that you should prepare a weekly feeding program and if you need to top off the reservoir it should only be water, sometimes h2o & o2, if you need to add Oxygen. I would gather that it is a nute burn/stress and flush then only add nutes 1/wk. I don't know why the other plant(s) are not affected, maybe strand, maybe immune system can handle more stress. Don't know for sure, but thought i'd let you know about the rule i was taught

flush with stright water ph to 6.2 ish. you have nitrogen burn , your sucking the water out of the plant its like drinking and being dehydrated and hung over, they need straight water man, like now!!!

thank you:
the garden shed, and jimmytheweed

I guess I will flush them with RO water until they perk up (hopefully?),
and only feed ONCE a week

if you read the manual from GH (SEE OPERATION SECTION) the say half strength or just water. but not to start with aggressive feeding. I know i feed aggressive, so maybe if you start weak you can add more ppm, but make a weekly feeding program and then add half strength of that. i'm i explaining ok?

makes sense- I remember that now but i must have spaced that off...

I still don't know whats CAUSING the curling of the leaves though...
I'm starting to get very worried

Because of the multiple feedings the plant is locked up, flushing with a clearing agent will speed up the flushing process but do it for a week at the most, then go with the weekly schedule. The lock out is prob not because of the nutes you're using it's the timing that fucked them up. Going to a more routine will benefit the plant. after the flush, you should be able to see some improvements but after week two, one week of nutes, there should be considerable improvements to the plants posture. I would go with a medium feeding schedule which should be indicated on the bottle. If it's not go to the company website.

I'm suggesting it's a boron and copper lock out caused by the irregular feeding pattern. Check the pics on this link as my support.

I don't have a clearing agent, so I'll have to use pure RO water.

Are you sure that not giving them ANY nutrients for a week will not hurt the plant since its currently Flowering?

That step (flushing ) is essential for the elimination of the lock up. it cleans the piplines of the nutrient path. you must clean them before you can use them again to there full capacity, so i don't think it will harm the plant however it prob will lengthen the time of maturity. During the flushing process there are many nutrients in the plant that will start moving, or becoming unlocked so to speak. they will feed enough for 5 to 7days, even the moisture alone should allow for the livelyhood of the plant, although there may not be great signs of improvement until 1 wk after you reintroduce the nutrients.

That problem does look pretty much the same. Does that look like an iron deficiency on your indica as well?

What brand of nutrients are you using, what have you been keeping your pH at? what kind of hydroponic system?
