I am into day 12 of 12/12 and while i am still still great growth i have yet to see any signs of sex. How long should i be waiting till i see something? what is the average time?

Yes complete and total darkness is needed to force them to sex.
May take a little longer depending on how long you veg'd

i had vegged for 20 days and then cut the lights, They are in complete darkness no light leaks. everymorning i get up to cut the lights on i pray for a sign. lol

you might wanna invest in a light timer so that they turn on and off every 12 hours on the dot... worked wonders for me.. i vegged for about the same time as you and my girl showed hairs in 10 days... but strains vary.
i bet you'll go in there in a day or 2 and see signs.. also i heard males show a lot sooner than females so maybe the wait will pay off!

I'm on day ten my friend. And i don't expect "her" to show anytime soon.
The longer the better, and trust me when it does show i'm sure you'll be Very happy =]

yea i just started flowering two plants and the male showed much faster, like 10 days, and the female took about 18 days. Depends on ur strain tho

ok its a PH problem and deffo a nitrogen problem - the micro nutrients are a little to do with it but its all to do with the N - always be use even when u goi into flowering you should ALWAYs still feed ur plant 1/4 veg nutes - this still gives the plant all the other nutes it needs - remember all the plants NRG and bug production comes from the fan leaves - so they need to stay on the plant and be nice and green and healthy up until the last 2 weeks before flush/harvest PH is essential in the plants life and ppm and run off and ph should be kept and eye on at all times....
my advice would be to now flush all plants that have build up! - 3 x the containers then after this is done make sure when u feed nutes u are using 1/4 strength veg nutes
this is my little bit of input - its up to u if u want to listen and take this advice!
i like the look of ur colas tho they look tasty - just follow my advice and ur problems will soon clean up

temps between 75-85
humid between 40-50
u can see if you have build up in ur soil medium (all u do is check the ph of the run off) this is when u water ur plants and ph it before u water them then when the water comes out the holes in the bottom of the plant ph this and u can see how much build up is in the soil
