Today is the start of the 8th week since I switched to 12/12.. First grow. Lots learned and improvements coming for grow #2

Today I intend to stop feeding and just water until harvest, is this too soon? How long am I looking until harvest? Couple weeks?

I can see the hairs (stigmas) are darkened, but there are many more that are white, tells me a few more weeks. I can't tell if and of the glans/ balloons on strings (trichomes) are all clear or if some are cloudy/milky. If they are getting cloudy, I would wait until till they are mostly cloudy.
If you can't magnify them to take a closer look, wait until over half of the hairs are darkened. ( Going by the hair (stigma) color is iffy, depending on strain.)

Go with what gearshift said. Get a cheap pocket microscope and look at trichs. eBay sells a cheap 60x that works good enough. Well worth the 5 or so bucks. Nice looking buds.

Looking Nice Lord :). They sure look like 2 weeks would be a great minimum, and that 3 weeks would likely be devine :). If you keep us updated about a week from now we can help you dial in the timing, but that is where I would suggest starting. If in 2 weeks you/we look at them and they have ripened quickly then you will be great ;). If they need another week well then cool.

You don't want to harvest early, and its much easier to harvest to early then it is to harvest to late.

As far as just plain water goes, thats up to you. You can go that route till the end, or feed for another week and then plain water the last week. Personally I feed till harvest, but its mostly because of my grow style. I don't think they need much the last week or so I just don't like to starve my plants if I can avoid it.
