These photos are from several weeks ago (March 5th) when I hung out my buds to dry. The biggest buds I hung on string. Some smaller ones I laid down on a rack and even smaller ones I set on screens. The smaller buds & sticky leaves are set aside for making canna butter. The biggest single bud was 5 grams without stem. Again, not the greatest output, but I'm happy with what I got. Next time I'll have to watch the pH more carefully.

Here's an example of a bud that I sampled:

Not the best photo, but you can see that the calyxes are still white. But anyway, I still get high as fuck from this stuff and its medicinal value is very good. This shot was taken the first night that I tried this stuff. That was after leaving it dry in my cabinet for 2 weeks while I was on vacation. The effect still turned out great. Only the taste is kind of harsh. Some ammonia aftertaste. The dried buds are stiff like molded plastic, but juicy inside with resin. Now I'm curing it in jars to see if that will improve it somehow.

Looks like someone's gonna have a party soon. Nice haul dave.
Thanks, Jig. I've been having a one man party ever since harvest time! ha ha

Not the biggest haul, but it should last me 6-8 months at the rate that I smoke it (about a quarter oz per month).

Wish I could get my smoking to 1/4 oz a month Dave. As long as you are happy with the harvest, it doesn't matter what you pull. I just love adding those nugs to a jar and thinking, hmmm, I done that.
Take it easy, have a good weekend.
Peace, DST

Good to hear from you, D. I hope your vacation was as good as mine was. Aaaaaaahhhhh! I needed that.
I had some major problems with my hydro grow for a while and had to chop earlier than I wanted to. And I wished that I could have cured it properly. But in spite of all that, it still turned out pretty damn good. Have a good weekend yourself, bro.

Got some Tahoe OG seeds and some unknown feminized seeds. This summer I want to experiment with an organic soil grow, something that I know nothing about. (But I'm sick of checking pH every fuckin day.) I wonder if I should grow a couple of Tahoes or a tight "Sea of Green" using the unknown seeds. Since it would be an experiment, I'd be inclined to use the unknown seeds. But I'm anxious to grow the Tahoes. Decisions, decisions...

It's all relative bro. If you can smoke on that for that long that's a haul in my book. You should have at least one more harvest before that's gone, so that's awesome. I'm gonna do a grow in Super Soil later in the summer. Should be exciting as I've never done soil before. Well actually I tried once and failed miserably, so it doesn't count in my book. I'm doing it right this time though. Already got my soil 'cooking' for the adventure to come.

I honestly can't wait to try soil. I've always enjoyed the nice organic soil flavor that the buds have when grown that way. I'm sure the yield will be less, but I grow too much anyways, lol.

Didn't ask before... is it cool if I hang out in here? Would like to enjoy the ride with you.

No problem, friend. I wish more people would post here. Only I'll start a new thread for my next grow, but I'll post the info here when I create one. Super Soil, huh? I'll have to look into that, because I know nothing about growing in soil yet. I just know that I want grow organically.

What did the bad reviews say? It was really hard for me to grow this plant for some reason. The leaves kept drying out. I thought it was a pH problem, but not really sure. But it's very potent stuff to smoke. I'm happy with the product, but had trouble growing her. Is that what the bad reviews said about PC?

Hey man, how you doing? Enjoying your cured product yet?

The bad reviews that the strain got (the ones I read a few months back when I was checking the strain out) were all based on the inconsistent genetics this time around from Barney's, growers claim that the strain wasn't stabilized enough, so people that were growing it ended up with a large array of results on the phenotype level. Also, it is nothing like advertised by BF, neither height wise or flowering time wise (again due to people getting either and indica dominant or sativa dominant pheno).

This is all stuff for serious growers to worry about.
I don't care about any of that with my small box setup :P
