Calcium Def? It's only on leaves toward the top of the plant and only on a few leaves. How should I proceed?

Edit: Sub's Super Soil, the plant is 29 days from flip. Underneath 800W COB 12-18 inches away

thats not calcium. your led is too close, i believe. the light from an led is a targeted spectrum, and much more intense within those bandwidths. back the light off another 6 inches and see if it doesn't help.

and if i'm wrong and it is a deficiency, thats much more likely to be magnesium that calcium

The light is too close, as heat is not what you should be worried about, it is the intensity, which you light has a lot of. The majority of your leaves look good, but watch out for bleaching, which you will get at that height.Back it off to 2', and you should be fine.

calcium deficiency for sure and usually Id say just bump up the cal-mag but as you are organic Ill have to suggest crushing up egg shells into a powder and top dressing with them.
Let us know how it turns out.
Best of luck!
This was my though, ziff it was heat the leaves would curl or react more, this is passively inside the leaf, it's a deficiency

If you're using super soil and you mixed it correctly and let it cook long enough I doubt you're deficient from lack of minerals in soil. I would assume the PH of the soil is out of whack causing nutrients to be locked out or just not absorbed. Get a soil PH meter and take several reading throughout the container. I believe in soil you want it 6.5-6.8 on the PH scale.

I would check everything you can without adding more nutrients because once you add too much it's a pain in the ass to go back.

Cheers and good luck

After thinking about it I would have to agree with this. Cal. would be rust dots and these are stripes witch would indicate Mag.
Turkey shit is high in mag. If you know anyone who has any. A nice warm handful (or cold) mixed in warm water would make your plants happy.

too much K can lock out mag. did you start using a high K bloom booster recently?
that just seems awful high up on the plant to be mag, mag should show up on lower growth first.

I've not added anything other than water. The SS cooked for 8 weeks. I weigh and measure everything according to the recipe. FWIW, it's only on a few plants and it's not very abundant.
