About 72 hrs is the max. After that they have pretty much used up the stored sugars and carbs created during photosynthesis. After that they will just slowly begin to die and degrade........

Dear Sir, I happen to know the real Tom Bodett who is the spokesperson for Motel 6 and he will not appreciate your using his name on this site. Nor will Accor North America take kindly to their Motel 6 brand logo being used. I will notify Tom of this in the morning. You will do well to edit your profile and eliminate your previous posts before then.

Sincerely,

Chester Ludlow

I've tried dark periods on about a dozen different strains and never noticed anything. Personally I think it's a waste of time but I'd recommend you try it for yourself and then conduct a blind test with friends to see if anyone can tell a difference.

I normally run a perpetual grow but just finished my last run for the summer and did this for the first time. Cut them down yesterday after 48 hrs of darkness. I wish I could say there was a difference from the last time the lights were on. There might me more frost but can't say for sure and notice no difference in yield.

Finally a break. First time in three years. Just have to dry/cure and I am free for a few weeks. It will be nice not having to worry about the shit the summer brings, heat, bugs and mildew. GONE FISHING!!!

how will your plant up and magically produce more thc than the genetics will allow??... just because you keep it in the dark????

30 % more THC is a big increase ...definatley would be noticable

thats like saying your can increase your thc % by curing..... IMO nope
