Dark Ages

Is there such a thing as to much dark,during time of flowering.because my plant seems to be doing very well.:peace:

It's best to start off with 12/12 to begin flowering, but I've heard of several people progressing to longer periods of darkness but never 13 dark 9 light.. did you mean 13 dark 11 light? If so, I've done this several times and had great success with it. Hope that helps:joint:

as far as light conditions go, I would not exceed 12 hours of darkness as this is pretty much the perfect threshold for all plants.

However, you may have a strain that does better with a longer dark period, and then and only then would I go beyond 12 hours of darkness.

If you do push it beyond 12 hours, you may not have any poor results, but it is likely that you could cause a female to become hermaphroditic because of the unnatural conditions.
