man i question when did u start feeding ur plants since day 0 HPS? i making an indoor myself not scrog just sog one day i'll make scrog anyway i was having my plants under 4 4feet tube florecente t12 30w cool/warm light but i have a 600w hps on an autoflowering plant, i think if i transplant all my plants into the hps they will recive more light than onthe 4florecent what do u think.. btw when i decide to flower my plants my mother plants will be moved back to florecent what do u think

Wow, looks like your LSTing her, she looks good. Just try to keep her as horizontal as possible. It may keep your from getting to the net faster but I've learned that a little patience at this stage can save you a lot of trouble later in addition giving you more branches to route and watch BUD!

So do to security reasons I got rid of my old setup the good news is a buddy in the area took it upon himself to buy my setup and heed some knowledge of scrog and I am helping him tend to a fruitful harvest!
He even surprised me with a seed he sprouted that looks like a nice indica which I never see in this neck of the woods let me know what you guys think I was going to make a whole new thread but I am not sure how often I will be able to update seeing that it is not in my access 100% and don't want to invade privacy because I need to do an update =)

Teaching others to grow now huh? I Love it!! Ok if I remember right thats a 400 watt which covers at least 4 square feet. You know you have 2 plants 2 many, right? Since you have them it might be a good idea for your friend to expand that screen as much as possible. IDK how but its going to be too small real soon bec they look healthy and vigorous and will take over that screen in no time. Believe me this is the voice of experience talking and once you train them its not good to remove the string bec they wont stand alone well without the support. I have two plants that I removed from the pink scrog now. They are doing well but one of them is very fragile because the trunk is very small but the foilage is huge. The only reason she's standing is because I topped her perfectly and she's balanced on that small stem.

Yeah I only had so much width to work with in his space, on my last grow I noticed negating effects from anything beyond 3ft I generally don't like to extend more then 18-19 inches beyond the source of light I like 3 feet as a guideline of length with a 400w I think as long as I hit every hole I will still pull a great harvest being that it stays healthy and no problem with pests occur. I can't wait to ever get a 4x4 going wouldn't mind trying that with a 600w just to see some results, for me it's all about what I put in to what I get out cost benefit analysis indeed.
And yes one plant would of been nice but I just couldn't get him to believe that he only needed one he insisted on at least 2 lol I still think it will turn out just fine the little one is a sprout that seems to be worth keeping working on a mother spot for it at the moment!
Besides that this little mini grow is doing welll she finally hit the screen little training and were into to flower for stretch soon!

The stems are turning red she's getting ready to bloom. Feed her somemore. Lookin good!!

Purple stems means the leaf is a sink, green stems means the leaf is a source
purple stems tells us that the plant is mature (as does alternating nodes) and is preparing to flower, like a squirel storing nuts for winter, the plant starts storing nutes to make sure it has them to flower with.
Yet one more reason not to prune leaves
and don't confuse this with stems turning red which is the first sign of an N deficiency

Here you go, these are really good example's. Once you start seeing those stems turning red they are starting to store nutes to bloom. Once you start seeing that its important to make it rain at least once a week if you want to see her take off. Otherwise back off on the nutes and only feed ever other watering. It just depends on how aggressive you want to be. I made it rain a lot this time around and man, Im running out of space veritically and thats never happened before. I got one plant on the floor and its almost 4 feet tall. Chex my thread Im going to post some more pix tonight.
