I use a bamboo skewer to make my hole. I will usually plant them around 1/4" deep maybe just a little more.. I used to have issues with the same thing. They would pop above soil and still have that damn membrane attached so I would have to wet it and wait till I could pull it off. I've pulled off a head before doing that. :lol:

:) hell yeah.. I use my old chopsticks to stir around in the soil, just to move it around in the containers & break up the feeler roots. & add back oxygen to the soil.

That's what I guessed. I mean, I don't even know how it grew in there. There was no oxygen being pumped to it.. Just sitting in the bottom of a glass. :lol:

Told you, I do some strange shit.. I may do it again to see if I can get it to work. :lol:
