Yes, it works that way.
Often I do the same thing, mixing to get what I want.
I got some FF but try not to use it if I can help it, because it drops my PH quite a bit, but I've got 2 liquid ferts, one for veggies, one for Tomatos, some MG, Veg n Bloom, MOAB, and a couple diff. other things that I do a 'bit of this, and a bit of that'.

Other than the bit of burn I mentioned, and the (lock out) deficiency (thanks Stew ... still reading) on a couple lower leaves, I feel "she" looks ok.
btw ... the HF tomato and veg does have the Cal that my RO water does not

Just loaded up a fresh bowl in the SGW Waffle v2 myself. Also didn't want to run way into town to get a good bottle of scotch so I settled with some cheap Seagram's 7. Seven n Seven's aren't too bad, but I rather have some good single malt scotch, neat.

You know how many growers on here are not legal? Just be smart and stay reasonably small. I'm trying to get my perpetual cycle down a little more but at full run I could easily pull 3/4lb every 2 months with my flowering and veg areas, and they are pretty small.if onlyyy i could do that. i dont want to go big.... not legal yet where im at LOL

Mine doesn't seem to be working right still. lol Yeah, I am using a magnetic ballast I built and encased in a military ammo box. Have used it for at least 6 yr's or more and it still works like a charm..I'm seeing more peeps using ceramic metal halide. They've been around for awhile wonder how they compare to standard hps or mh. I'm not too thrilled bout them yet. They don't run on electronic ballast. Magnetic ballast onlyI feel Yer pain sticker price shock.
Only thing I had to replace was the starter plug which isnt hard to do at all.. I have found that using the mixed spectrum ( flipping in the HPS & LED, then MHS & LED, along with CFL) and just keep messing with the spectrum's, Ive seen better yields my past runs.!Check out the color spectrum of all three and see for yourself. Actually, they do run on a few digi's, just not many. Before you ask no I don't know which ones. I personally feel they run a little cooler than hps. The big difference is they give off uv light unless ran in a cooltube which would defeat the purpose of using them in the first place. Another benefit is pics come out absolutely beautiful with them on, unlike hps. When using them its a good idea to give plants some dynagro protect because plants grow very fast under them. Got cmh.....

One of the Cherries I'm 90% sure it's a male, and it is the shorter, bushy, more female looking one. The other that you would probably figure at first to be a male, hasn't shown anything yet. Hoping it will turn female. If they both end up being males I'll cull one, collect pollen off the others, and then just start over again.
Kind of hurt me taking the chance on these Cherries because I was hoping for females, which is a classic newbie mistake, but I just got all five of the Purple Trainwrecks into soil yesterday, and planted an Auto flower freebie I had to fill some space.
Looks like I might be looking for that new strain sooner then I thought.
