Dank names, but is it dank?

I'm new here will be starting in the next couple months but thought I would post on my 5 day retrieval time from herbieseedshop. Holy smokes- Strawberry diesel, Cali Connection- alien og, Blimburn- Og kush, Bc Bud Depot- ultimate purple. I ordered a small batch in hopes I find one good plant to clone. Thanks for dropping in any news about these strains besides what can be found on the first 10 pages of google would be great. I've read good and bad about all companies not really sweating them.

Alien OG that I grew tested at 11 percent thc... biggest let down of my life. It looked really frosty too!

Well that stinks thanks for the info. I was really looking forward to that and the seed looked the best out of the bunch but I didn't plan on keeping these strains long just choose one to clone then order more seeds. Any good companies to focus on?

lol rory... I was gonna say the same thing, not so much about the breeders although I think all mentioned are good - just that I'd grow the freebie Skunk x Kerala out first before anything else selected.

what would be considered an un-dank name?

beasters as un-dank as it comes. or try hemp absolutely no dank there

I'm actually germing the power flower and a random bag seed from some cherry pie.

Idk I consider anything with kush dank... But if it sounds good then it sounds like dank. I'm use to clones from Harboside I want to make clones from seed.know what I want just don't know what seeds are good. Mainly interested in Kush. SFV og King Louie super lemon pine long high DANK!

Imo there is so much breeding going on, most if not all new strains are gonna produce dank under the right conditions. They are all built on the solid building blocks like skunk, NL, Afghan etc. So unless you buy from a disreputable breeder who cant produce fem seeds to a good standard or does enough selections to breed out undesired traits , you will rarely be disappointed. Bottom line, go with a reputable breeder and you should be happy with their product ,even if the name isn't dank sounding. Like DNA has a strain called honey boo boo. That name positively revolts me and I will never grow in a million years, but I bet it is some fire.

Good point! Guess I'll stick to clones if I'm not happy with the turn out. Usually if it doesn't sound good I won't look but my friend likes to only supply me with meds I've never heard of and all being very very nice just trying to grow some bomb meds. Cause if you lived where I did you'd know there is no smoking bama weed here bud and my medicine adds up at an 1/8th to a quarter a day depends on how often I need to medicate. I get my meds at a fair price but still. Couple crappy nug shot. Flash no flash some coo purple $25 an 1/8th will show the kush I'm picking up later. I know it'll take work but I'm looking for strains like these... Flavor, long high, short, short flower.
