Got a little over 2.5 oz off one of the girls, the other is still going, maybe a few more weeks till harvest on her. Just a few last min questions I have wondered and come across so many differing answers. What you guys think about any of these? Thanks

-When Does light stop degrading THC? (how long into ) At what point in curing do you no longer have to keep it in a dark area. When is it sustainable in light? As with temps as well, when can buds be ok in a range of temps?

-How long (ballpark or from experience) do/did you cure in jars for?

-I understand the longer the better, but is there a too long where quality starts regressing?

-Trich production happens in the dark periods, when and for how long does this continue or mature in curing? On that note, will the smoke be any more potent from the day of chop to the end of curing? I know it will taste, burn, and smell better but does it get any more potent with the curing time/period?

Thanks guys + rep for any solid answers. PEACE AND LOVE

As far as I know, light will always be bad for THC. Best to keep your stash, even after drying, in a dark place as much as possible and a bit on the cooler side is better too say... not more than 20 C but 15 C - 18 C is best if I recall. As for curing, I usually take between 1-2 weeks depending on what I've got. If the strain is something real special I'll go the full two weeks. As for losing quality by curing for too long a time, I don't think that will happen but remember that you need to get the bulk of that moisture out in a reasonable amount of time to avoid mold. As for trichome and chemical production within the buds. That will come to an end very soon after cutting. Think of it this way, how long would it take for a cutting (clone) to die without being cared for? Same for the buds I would say. Finally, yes proper curing can improve potency. Fresh (wet) marijuana is not as potent as well cured. Again, following the 1-2 week rule should guarantee that your pot is at it's best. Hope this helps with your questions.

Yea I did, We used 8 26w 5000K cfl for veg and in flower we had 23....yes 23- 26w cfls and 2- 42 w cfl's. they were evenly distibuted arounf the plant for max penetration. Plus they were all free from a buddy so it really worked out. good luck on your grow aswell brother. If you do find out any of this info please inform me.

Light will always degrade THC, you will ALWAYS want to store your harvest in a cool dry dark place, some folks keep em in the fridge

-How long (ballpark or from experience) do/did you cure in jars for?

I always do a smoke test after 7 days of curing (in the jars) and then after 30 days I start smokin em, they ALWAYS continue to get better

-I understand the longer the better, but is there a too long where quality starts regressing?

As I said they just keep gettin better, all round taste smell potency, only light, heat and humidity will degrade em

-Trich production happens in the dark periods, when and for how long does this continue or mature in curing? On that note, will the smoke be any more potent from the day of chop to the end of curing? Will get WAY more potent lots of things happen during curing thc mutates as does other cannibanoids, this is why it gets better there are books that explain it

Thanks guys + rep for any solid answers. PEACE AND LOVE

Hope that helps, sounds like you had a good grow

Were all of your CFLs 2700K when flowering? I ask because I recently switched out a couple 6500K ones I had mixed in with my 2700K ones and was wondering if I did the right thing.
I currently have 2 @ 68watts and 8 @ 23watts and they're all 2700K for flowering.
25 bulbs is a ton! Not sure I could figure out where to put them all, haha
