my plants are about 2-3.5 weeks from finishing and harvest and the buds are covered in little dandelion hairs. should i wash them off with a waterhose a day before harvest or should i use a air compressor and hose and hit them with air. any suggestions buds are really resinous so and i would rather not hit them with water b/c of chance of bud mold and rot. any suggestions? maybe some one has dealt with it before.

The cleanest way you are going to get them is probably just enough water force to knock them free and carry them free (a firm water bottle spray or gentle house mist). You will loose some trichs but in the end the product will be cleaner tasting... like smokey said its prob best to do it now so your not damaging the larger number of trichs later in growth. It really does depend... if you think you can get them all off by harvest by regular tweezings then that is deffinately less invasive and make the plant happier. Water temp might have an effect also
