I have owned and driven/ridden several cars and several motorcycles. On a bike, I am very mindful of the drivers. In my car or truck, i am very mindful of the riders. Each brings a different mindset and different strengths and weaknesses of observation and exposure. My core attitudes are "different strokes" and "with just a little love, we can all get along". I have little time for calling one better than the other. I also don't care to call it a competition between the two modes of (tran)sport. Jmo.

this is very true ricky, but like i said, i know myself well enough and know my love for speed, and my distrust for other motorists to know it'd be a very, very bad combination..You only live once.
i'd die with a smile on my face, but i'd still be dead, lol..

I was referring to what UB admits to doing.
But notice in the video, the biker exchanges words....
All fine and dandy, in most cases. How many people do so daily in traffic and normally
don't rear end people.
Then, yes, and rightfully so they attempt to stop the driver. Kind of a standard procedure in a traffic
accident unless it is a hit and run.
The RR driver then runs through them and runs them over?
Im will to bet the person in the RR had a cell phone, or could have stopped at any of the numerous
public places they raced pass to call for help.

Reports are that when they forced him to stop they slashed one of his tires. Not an indication of a friendly conversation about to ensue. It's also indicated they tried opening his door. You probably don't have kids. If you do tell me why a stranger that forced you to stop in the middle of a pack while your tire gets slashed would be welcome anywhere near your family.

I loved motorcycles and then I hit 16 and realised cars are way better! Bikes are fast on the straights and cars are faster in the corners.

Me too, I love speed and normally save it for the track, but I must admit there have been times
I have gone a bit too fast down a highway.
I have the same thinking that at least I will die with a smile on my face, which is far better than the thought
of dieing at work.

this is exactly why an f1 car always blows away a bike on a road course.. the bike and car are pretty evenly matched, but once they get into the twisty's, the f1 car is miles ahead with it's heaps of downforce..

Err.. What?? I don't usually have conversations with people in traffic... unless I know them or I'm pissed and feel like chewing them out (which I have never done). The RR driver did not do anything that should have provoked random threatening, and logic tells me the dude on the bike that said something to him and then immediately break checked him was probably not interested in having a friendly conversation....

So the RR driver was able to run a person over and take off at a high rate of speed with slashed tires?
Running a flat at those speeds for that long and didn't carve the tire to the rim?
The thing that none of us can see is what caused the rider to have words with the RR driver. Doesn't it seem
odd that someone would just ride up and tell anyone off unprovoked? I doubt it in most cases. Maybe the RR
driver did one of those famous California lane changes to raise the attention of the rider.

I'm glad Big Rig drivers don't share the attitudes of some of you, or most of us would be pushed off the road at some point. Your choice of transportation shouldn't dictate your pecking order in matters of the laws of the road, courtesies, spoken and unspoken.

yeah, idk either kinetic, idk if i phrased that right, as i meant it to be more of a question than a statement of fact..
the video is kind of odd the way it starts in the middle like that and you really can't tell what went on in the minute or so before we see any footage.. is that deliberate on the motorcyclists part in an effort to paint the RR driver as the quilty party?? i guess we'll never really know what went on before the video started..
