Dairy Queen - Lemonade Pheno

I germinated 5 Dairy Queen bean in October, finally jar'd them all up and ended up with 3 pheno's, having not smoked any of it yet I'm blown away with one distinctive Lemonade smelling girl, anyone else experience this one?

DQ # 1 Lemonade pheno grows tall and stretched, harvested the least of the 3 from this one. Buds are not big but not fluffy either, can't wait to smoke.

DQ # 2 This girl had to be topped 4 weeks into flowering because it overgrew my room, formed massive top cola's (compared to the other 2 DQ's) an what a funky skunky smell.

DQ # 4 Grows slow, stays short, perfect for scrog or lst. Same funky skunky smell as DQ #2 but with the bud formation of DQ # 1.

All 3 pending smoke test and smoke report to follow... I'm excited about the Lemonade, if it's as good as it smells I got some pollen waiting for her in about a week or so (8 days into flowering now) and I will breed a few runs to try and stabilize that trait.

I grew the DQ about 2 years ago, really enjoyed her. My favorite were the kinda poo smelling nasty ones. I didn't have a lemonade one, kinda sounds like my vortex I grew out though, she was straight snapple lemonade.

lemon / lemonade seems to be quite common with tga strains , i have the flav at the moment it has a very nice lemonade smell with a sharp lemon flavor

i have Space Bomb and i love it! i smoked some buds of it last summer and its one of my favorite strains. i have Jack The Ripper i think im going to start next. and some Querkle. i love everything by TGA! all his gear is so lovely! i can't wait to get the Plushberry and some Ace Of Spades. i wish i could find a cut of the Black Cherry Soda. then i would be in heaven!!

LOL I think I have that poo one, for lack of a better term... named DQ 1 Lemonade, maybe the others I'll call Grand Mamma Poo...

Good luck lol.. unless the beans are spilled on what Black Cherry is you wont get your hands on that cut, I'm sure just a few trusted TGA members have it, but I'm also certain it's just a pheno of a strain that you could get a hold of.

I just started my Dairyqueen. How does she feed? How much supersoil? 1/2...or...1/4 full pot. Does she grow Tall? I have her topped twice and in a 1 gallon pot and need to transplant into a 5.

Can stretch, I had one grow about 1 1/2' taller than my shortest, all vegged same amount of time and all topped once. So she can be short and bushy of tall with spaced out nodes. I am just days away from trying it out. I grew in Sunshine #4 she can take nutes, I fed her heavy up until 2 weeks before harvest.

Ive got a DQ that is strong lemonade smelling. Everyone loves the smoke. It is a small yielder thou. Ive started 2 more seeds hoping one is a female and its more of a cheese smell and higher yield. I realize this post is old but I just wanted to share.

Yea my Snapple (lemonade) cut is very low yield but enjoyable smoke, the cheese is much shorter and great when topped, yields me about 30% more than the Snapple
