I was cleaning up my girls about two weeks into flower and had some bottom branches that were not going to amount to much . Instead of throwing them away , I decided to see if I could get them to root .
I used a 11.5 oz. coffee can and an old air pump with stone from one of my kids old fish set up .
I drilled a 3/8 inch hole in the lid and dropped the two branches in. No nutes. Just tap water . I forgot about them for about 12 days and this is what happened . I don't need them so I might see if my son wants to grow them out .

LOL , sounds like a truce in the works .
My stems were sticking in the water I would say about an inch . I just cut them and scraped the bottom half inch . I litterally forgot about them . My wife kept me busy with Christmas stuff . My wife is getting me a T5 light for New Years and will design a system for 12 clones . I will keep the strongest six and give away the others . I only need to get strong roots and then I will slip a round rockwool plug around them and put into 6" blocks . Begin Veg . I am happy with this little experiment .

What's with the carb stone and air pump? More specifically, why dose the water need to be saturated with air?

yo dadio,

My plants are in the flowering stage and have been for four weeks, however, I just cut 4 branches from the base of the plant in an attempt to clone them. Do you think this will work since all branches i cut have flowers on them?

This was my first attempt , but I would say it should work . Just might take a bit longer to root . You didn't pay for the branches so you have nothing to lose . Give it a shot .

Right on. Also, do you think a 40watt desk lamp will work until they root, or should I just put them by a window?
