I haven't attempted live resin yet. Do u use a closed loop? Closed loop ran "open"? Open blast? Looks beautiful! Solvent used? Purged w/heat? Vacuum? Temps? Ect. Any advice would be much appreciated!

I have been making butane and ethanol based concentrates for years. I open blast still! I like the control I have. I like to visually see everything. I don't use canned lighter fluid. I have a 30 lb tank with a regulator and a nipple. I use close to pure (95.5%) N-butane for initial extractions. After i purge off residual butane under vacuum at 90degF, then "winterize" using organic ethanol when making shatter. Sometimes i do a second "winterization" with bho "sap", then add terps. when filling vape cartridges. I haven't had the means to distill anything in over a year now. (Lab was burglarized)

I still make honeycomb wax as well mostly by request. People in WA love wax. People on this forum have given me a hard time for still making wax on occasion in 2018. God forbid. It still wins competitions all around the world. Even as of late. Anyway, I wanted to attempt to open blast fresh frozen material. Just concerned about blowback. I chill my butane tank before an extraction. Should I chop frozen flowers pack into cylinder then put column in freezer after full? Or just chop the frozen flower and pack cylinders as I go? Like I said any info on blasting "live resin" would be massively appreciated! Thanks sincerely Kid K.

I don't know why people condemn wax. I'm not a fan of crumble. Mostly because it is harder to handle IMO. I'm smoking some Cindy 99 wax that is almost 80% THC. Tastes great also. Idk I just like high quality concentrates of all types.
