Yeah i gotta My-grow account, not many on the site, but everyones way cool. defn gonna check out that ICMag though as well, good luck to you. things seem to be normal here, for now.
You should check out ICMag.com/forums. I'm about to start an account there, and I think I'll run 2 parallel accounts at the same time for redundancy from now on in case RIU turns all fubar again.

Hi all, quick update on the girls and a few more pics for ya. ; )

So here are the measurements as I think they have pretty much stopped stretching. They may go up another inch or so, but this is about it here. Just wanted to wait until they were basically done before I took measurements for everyone as I don't really give a crap how big they are! hehehe

HB : 27" avg.
SS#1 : 30" avg.
SS#5 : 26" avg.

And as promised, some pics for your viewing pleasure!

First 3 are of all of em, next 4 are of SS, last one is top-down on a HB.

ha only in the grow room! funny how you get uniform full bloom rooms in all of your grows, nice to have the method down! gonna try your keeping the canopy even during veg, on my current grow. check out my second sig journal if you ever get a chance. got rid of my eight male clones, long story. but i got eight oaksterdam clones now! going slow right now, but i'm trying a new method with my t5's during veg, putting the light like 15" away! i notice faster, denser growth putting the light farther away, and the t5's keep the nodes dense!

So I figured as another brief diversion while we are waiting for the plants to grow I would post a few (very poor resolution) pics of my setup. I took these last night using the flash, so they aren't the best. They do the trick to show you what I'm working with though.

I'm just going to post em, not say anything about what's what, and wait for specific questions to be asked to explain it since I could probably write a novel on what I did and I really don't want to. So if you have a question about the setup, don't hesitate to ask!

that's great man! i always wondered if those tent's could hold the lights. i know i bought a portable dresser that has a similar tube steel design, but thought is was kinda flimsy. but im sure the tent stands stout, but if you shook one of the four vertical posts, do you get scared the thing will fall apart? something i always wondered.
ur portable a/c unit goes on the outside of ur box, to tubing, to carbon filter? does this give you any humid problems outside of the box? great pics man, nice to have the extra room. i gotta 4x4x6 room, that feels too short for me. i'm realizing now with the 600w hps, and it needing to be 22" from the tops of the plants, with pot size, im only really working with 3' for the height of my plants. what are ur suggestions to maximize yield for my grows, in relation to my bloom room size? i know i can tie the plants down if the get too tall in the bloom room, my plan is to have six plants in five gallon pots in there. but can i do more?

Naa those tents are beast, they're not going anywhere. I've never once had the inclination that it might fall apart. Shit for the price of the damn things they better not! My flower tent is a Sun Hut brand 2x4x7' model, which is actually about 3.5x5.5x7.5'. I love this tent. It's made very well, it's the perfect size (any less would be too small I think), and it was very well thought out in development as I can't think of anything that's it's missing. Best part of all...it's one of the cheapest ones. I only paid $200.00 for it. Sweet.

My veg tent is another story though. I had seen that Grow Lab tents offered some models with a window in it so you could check out your babies without having to unzip the whole thing (which let me tell you becomes a pain in the ass on the Grow Lab after a while). I asked the owner of the hydro shop to verify that their 2x4x7' model had the window. He assured me that it did. So I bought it for about $50.00 more than the Sun Hut at $248.00 I think it was. Brought it home, put it together, and I'll be damned - no window. I was pissed but since I live in an apartment building, and since it took me about 1.5 hours to assemble, and since I'd already ripped my old flowering cab (which was an armoire) completely apart and moved the existing Sun Hut that I was using for the veg tent over to the armoire's old position, there was no going back. I just had to keep the Grow Lab and use it as the veg tent. The thing zips up ass-backwards, is a good bit smaller (just a bit larger than 2x4x7'), and doesn't have duct ports everywhere like it should but rather only in certain spots. Whatever. I made that fucker work though! You see where I have the two of em butted together in an 'L' shape? That's because they're positioned so that the duct ports are lined up so I can make one giant ventilation loop through both tents with one intake and one exhaust. I'll have to post more pics to explain this because I don't even think I can draw up the design I came up with. It's pretty complex, and it works great. The fresh air comes in the bottom of the flower tent, gets drawn up past the light to the top, gets pulled via fan from the top of the flower tent and pushed down to the bottom intake on the veg tent, then up across the veg tent lights, then pulled off the top of the veg tent and through the cool tube via fan, and finally gets exhausted out the ceiling into the attic. Most of the ducting is straight pipe as I used this whenever possible to keep noise and resistance to a minimum. 1 portable a/c and 2 inline fans keep both tents cool and the cooltube vented. :bigjoint:

great looking plants dc!!! how many r u growing with the 400?
Thanks, 9 in flower and 2 moms in veg. The new bulb is helping a lot. You should see these things now... :eyesmoke:

man it sounds like the 400 does the job glad i got 1 lol... keep grow n..
Yeah I'd love to have a 600w but the heat around here is already bad enough for me to need an a/c unit, and with that in mind my electric bill is already high enough for the little apartment that I have already! I keep dreaming of a 600 watter and when I move back north again I think I'm getting one. But until then I'm stuck with my 400w and a $180.00/mo electric bill during the summer.

A few more pics of the girls that I took this morning right before lights went off. They are coming along nicely and not a lot to say really, which is a good thing!

I did switch from bloom nutes with Open Sesame to bloom nutes with Beastie Blooms though just last night, and I gave them one little burst of N the day before that since they were starting to lighten up quite a bit already for only being less than 3 weeks in. Other than that, it's business as usual!

First couple are of all of them, next is the SS sativas, then the SS indicas, and last is HB.

Sorry MeanGreen, I meant to answer your question the other day but I must have forgot! I gave them a splash of 'Amino Aid' from Aurora Innovations. I got this free as a sample from my local shop, and I actually like it a lot for the mid-bloom blast of N that's usually needed halfway through flower. It's 5-0-0, so you can get as much or as little N as ya want. I fed it along with Superthrive and Big Bloom on that round.

Sorry about the lack of pics/posts here lately guys, I've been working 9am-9pm six days a week due to extended Christmas hours so time is hard to come by. You know, working these ridiculous Christmas hours makes me think...WWJD! Would Jesus tell his boss to shove it because he's not going to work 75 hr weeks? Or would he turn the other cheek? lol Just makes me think of a pissed off Jesus bitch-slapping a middle-manager which at this point is something I've been dreaming of doing here lately. Damn them and their money! I prob wouldn't be here right now if I lived in a medicinal state.

Anyway, I plan on taking some good daylight pics tomorrow to show the girls off now that they're 3 weeks in and budding out pretty good. So check back soon!
