CXM-22, CXM-27 GEN question

Hi guys,
First of all thanks to everyone this site is a huge help. I’ve been planing to build an LED setup I’ve found CXM-22 and CXM-27 in a local vendor but they are Gen-1, the CXM-27’s are 142/lpW 5000k and 80cri 36v 1800ma and 65-144W CXM-22 are all same but they max out 105W and 1920ma and they are 7800lm, would they give me the same results in the tent as gen-4 or am I better off to get gen-4. Thank you in advance.

I would buy gen 4 online if you can. It's one of the best cobs if not the best.

or maybe you can get them to do a bulk order of the new gen and buy it from them. Then you help a local store

Dont buy the old cobs they wont have the same performance. Unless the price drop lets you buy 3 times as many as of latest gen...

Thanks man, price was dead on, i could buy 3-4 for a price of 1 gen4 but they are all 5000k

you would be surprised how well 5000 k does everything..plusmore photons

So you're saying 10 of cxm27 at 75w just go for it

If you can manage running them at around 15-20w each i bet you can get away with thermal clueing them to a 3mm thick alu u-channel if you space them out a bit.

I like lower k for flower though, works better for us but ive seen oms 5k plants which look really good. But you may find longer flower times, and not much vertical growth in vegg, indicas making themselves into a ball of leaves.

why not try to get them thru arrow/digikey and yoou can get anything you want instead of 3 gens olld tech?
