Cuttings from a friend's plant

A friend of mine has a Purple Haze strain that is growing nicely in his apartment, next to the window....he cut off about an 8" slip for me, and I have put the stem in about 4" of water, with some nutrients added...it was looking good until I decided to move it outside (I live in the Virgin Islands, so the weather is perfect for it)...then she got all droopy, so I moved her back in...after a few days, she was looking good again, and I noticed a small root on the bottom, so I planted it in soil and watered with the same water...by the end of the day she looked like she was dead, so I relocated back to the bottle and water and she bounced back for the first day...now her leaves are starting to discolor and curl in...what should I do??

dude, ur ment to , dip it in rooting solution, an dplant it in soil straight away

from as soon as u chop it, ur ment to put rooting hormone on the bottom, and plant it in the medium ur using may it be soil or rockwool
