Cutting

It's my first try at growing bud, and I've got a plant about 60cm high I'm putting into flowering. At the moment I'm growing in my garden stealthily between some rose bushes, but I'm worried that it's gonna overtake them in height and be visible.

If I take a 30cm cutting at this stage and pot it up, and keep both plants in 12/12, will the cutting hold as a plant on it's own, and will it decrease the overall yield of bud instead of if I leave (no pun intended) it as one plant?

Couldn't say for sure. Though I know some people pinch to keep their plants short. Good luck mate.

no...it wont...the cutting will lack the root structure reqired to produce. And taking a 30cm cutting off the top will only land you a plant with no cola! Look into LST....That might be a better solution. Good luck!
