Cutting off light bleached fan leaves - good or bad idea?

Yeah, they're completely healthy looking large fan leaves, though the only problem is they're yellower than Homer Simpsons arse crack. Do these leaved still contain any form of nutrients or perform photosynthesis? Apparently the light bleaching is caused by the light breaking down the chlorophyll, assuming this is true that means these leaved fail to perform photosynthesis, though may still contain nutrients for the flowering phase?

you can remove them they no longer serve there main funtion and may possibly be blocking light to leaves that are creating energy what little if any nutes that may be in there can easily be replaced by root uptake.

Just in the second week of flowering - Had my light 8" from the tops, since the lights been raised to 14" the growths been green, so it's safe to assume it was light bleaching. Also here's a photo of one of the leaves, the green area is where there's less light intensity:

Not bleched. Your nutes prob have low N if u are using blooming nutes. You may want to add a lil N. but not alot...your fan leaves will yellow and die the longer you flower..cuz frankly..the plant is dying....but 2 weeks? Yeah add some n

Eh. This is getting annoying now... The light was at 8" above the plant, I've been feeding her mixture of Advanced nutrients jungle juice bloom and Cal/mag grow every three days which contains ALOT of N' - Also Nitrogen deficiency starts at the BOTTOM of the plant and makes it's way up - there is no yellowing at the bottom. Since the light's been moved she's sorted out her colour... I appreciate that you're trying to help, though I hate repeating myself... Please just read others and my own comments before making a decision. You can pull them off mate if it's going to allow more light to the lower budsites. I pull the fan leaves that shade the bud sites or bend them underneath

Aahh sorry man. I wasnt part of tat other thread... so i was basing off of what you an murf convo...i would not pull them off imo... The plant will get rid of them when it desnt need them any more or if they are no longer useful.

wait until the leaves are completely dead before removing.. the plant has stored energy in them that it will use..
