Found a very cheap and effective way to get rid of mites. Just get ahold of a midsized spray bottle fill with water and 3 to 4 drops of Ivory dishsoap. If really infested and you want instant results can kick up to about a large teaspoon or so. In any case, you'll find out quick enough how little you'll need. Bad infestations means eggs are probaly laid on every leaf. This will mean they'll be back in a few days (3 to 10 days)and you'll need to spray again and mabey a few more times. Ironically, though ,none of this will bring back parts that have been destroyed, only salvage what you might have left. For what it's worth this is the safest way I've found to preventing mite infestation as well, as the parts per million is rediculously low. First sign of any mite, just spray down completly under and over with lights off for an hour or two while they dry out. Try to keep the general air temp above 70 while drying. Small residue of soap in water will disapate in a few days and become inert. Of course if'n you have to spray right before harvest, you'll want to wash out your bud with plain ole water thoughly and then let dry completly. Good news the soap spray will usually dry up eggs that have been laid on leaves after a few applications over time, if done properly. Really sorry to hear about your mite issues. Mabey you can tackle this next time before it gets out of hand.
Tip-mite always head to the top of plant where the heat is. Checking out a few of the leaves and bud on top of the plants a couple, three times a day, can help you stay on top of things. Good Luck!!!!!

Ive got mites and am using ladybugs. Noticed lil black things, figured it was there poop. But untill just now, my whole life i always remember seeing lil black rock looking things in some bags. Now i get it, beetle poop!
Go ladybugs btw! I feel bad i lose half to my light, but they help a lot. Make sure to spray water on them, or they will die of thirst if you just release them
