cutting leaves

ive heard thing like LST & topping your plants, the other day i heard about cutting the end of the leaves on your plant.....does that do anything?

I dodnt realy know but i will like to know after wich set of leaf you can start cutting the top for new stemps to grow

you'll certainly be stressing the plant by doing this. you would also lose more water from the transpiration stream, create openings for disease.

what was the supposed purpose of doing this?

i've only done it to remove diseased or dying parts of the leaf before it spreads...

never topped one before but most people say after the 3rd or 4th node (branch). do a search, someone just had an awesome thread, with pics, of a topped plant.

what you guys think about my plants are they growing good the big ones are only 26 days old and the small ones were planted on feb 26 i need to know how im doing, its my first time growing

I only trim the leaves when I first cut my clones from the mother. This is done because clones don't need too much light until they get rootbound and feed nutes. Also, I trim leave ends that look sick/burned/dried.
Some say it's a good thing to trim off some fan leaves in the flower room. But we install all those fancy big ass lights and then we cut away the plant's "light antenna" ..... that just doesn't make sense to me
