Cutting bottom branches off LST

I'm sure I'm not the only one to think of this but I haven't found anything about it. Every time I've LSTd the bottom branches are all small and don't produce very much. My question is are they worth cutting off to give the top branches more room and nutrients?

Yea i always take those lowest nodes off, ussually in veg. Sometimes i trim about 1/4 of the lowest growth off at the beginning or just prior to flowering.

remove them - they are nutrient taker's - this will give the plant better feeding results - bottom branches that only have a bud or two is not worth it - generally every grow the bottom branches should be removed to help better plant development

yea get rid of them, also get rid of anything not getting full light (like say if another branch is shading a section of another branch I chop til they see the light!!

I leave the bottom 4 on and use them for a reveg.
The reveg is a crazy bush and good for clones.

By then, I know how the smoke is and whether or not it's worth saving.

The point is moot anyway, I decided to go with not lsting and prune all but a our 4-6 branches a week or two before flowering
