Ok, here we have a 3 week and 2 day old (23 day old basically) buddha white dwarf (autoflowering white widow) and week old Barneys Farm Red Diesel sprout.

Given 24 hour light under 2x 125 watt mixed spectrum mostly red CFL generating about 12,000 lumens each and 1x 65 watt blue spectrum CFL.

In MG organic nutrient soil and WD (white dwarf) has been fed growers choice organic nutes today.

Let me know how my babies are doing, first time grower!bongsmilie

Next post will have pics of the grow setup :bigjoint:

For the cabinet we just took old shitty black drawers, gutted them, and screwed the drawer front ends on while removing the entire bottom, sides, and back end of the drawer part you pull out. Then we just put reflective sheeting (emergency blanket from walmart CHEAP) covering the inside and inserted eye hooks for the lighting and fan.

Sounds like a sneaky little set up there. How are you keeping it cooled off? Plants look nice to me!

TY :D

As of now I'm using a little cheapo method of freezing water in water bottles and letting the fan blow the cooler air around...seems to be working like a charm and it was a tad dry so its also helping out with adding a bit of humidity

I would remove the metal reflectors, in my experience they just heat up and never really cool down.

Would I be losing much light reflection? With the CFL's they really aren't getting that hot and its actually a bit chilly where I keep them (basement - about 60-65) so I actually rely on the heat generated by the lights, but there's no way in hell you could have known that :p Like 90% of growers have issues with getting rid of the heat so TY, if the temps skyrocket I know exactly what to get rid of to bring them down :)

Yeah its probably ok if your dealing with cold. Most people have to deal with the cases being to hot. To me they heat up a bit, and block the airflows the fans create.

That is true and I definitely want to keep an eye on airflow from now on, fans pointless if its not moving the air around enough right!

Nah, yer good, brah! Dont worry about movin n-e thing. CFL's stay cool. I ran 462W of CFL's om a closet, w/1 fan fer circ and it never got above 74f, w/ambient temps in the mid 70's outside the closet

Week 4 UPDATE:weed:

You will notice on the last pic that weird leaf kinda of turning in the wrong direction...yeah, that leaf is aiming itself at the red diesels light for some reason :p
