Curling/twisting leaves

So if you have a new leaf that is twisted by the timejt grows into a full sizefan leaf it will have probably straightened out. Your full size leafs that are twisted would be my guess that they will stay that way. Any deficiencys you incur your plant will most likely pick one of those and you will end up trimming them right off.

My plant seemed to LOVE the unsoftened water, even giving them some (very little) epsom salts every third watering. I was sure y'all had saved me and all was right with the world! But here I am again, head hung and begging for insight. lol.
I'm growing in a small tent in a non- AC'd small room. Hard to control humidity and temps 50% of the time, as I have to keep the door closed and locked while at work. I cannot run the dehumidifier in there when locked up bc it drives up temps. (I do open the door and run the AC in the adjoining room when home and the dehumidifier which keeps things ideal- temps around 77 humidity at 45) When closed up though, temps are hanging between 75-84 degrees Fahrenheit with about 55-65% humidity.
One week ago today I noticed a white looking glow starting to form around all of the buds on my one girl while under the light, however it wasn't visible without the LED grow light on? This is the same plant that had the curling twisting leaf problem that seemed to correct itself.
After A LOT of research I decided this was powdery mildew and mixed a batch of baking soda and water and misted the plant. Upon inspecting the second girl, I noticed her leaves getting yellow spots and wilting at the bottom. I went to the closest thing I have to a 'grow shop' and they gave me 'safer' brand garden fungicide. I hit both plants with it.
Is this indeed powdery mildew? Should I chop the sick girl? That's what I was going to do today. Just not sure? Are the little buds smoke-able if this is the case? I was thinking of the H2O2 wash I watched by Jorge Cervantes? :!:
Obviously I would like to try and save the other. All the info on my grow is in my original post. I will include some pic.s that I took after dragging her (the bad girl (:) outside.
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!

your issue is revolving around nutrient imbalance and or over watering

what fertilizer are you using

how many mls per gallon for each bottle

what week of 12/12 are you in?

stop spraying them for now

Ok, I am quite positive I'm not over-watering. I let them get so dry the dirt pulls away from the side of the fabric pots. I figure better to be a little under then over-watered from all the stuff I read.
These are autos, 52 days from seed, 20/4. I planted directly into 5 Gallon smart pots of FFOF mixed with some extra perlite. I threw in about 3 handfuls of earthworm castings in a small hole in the middle of the pot and dropped the germinated seeds.
I am using no fertilizers. None. I was told that FFOF is a super soil and if I used nutes I would burn the plants??

ok
magnesium def, nitrogen def and over watering look similar

fox farm can last you a few weeks after each up pot before they need fertilizer

based on the info id say the yellowing is magnesium def, top dress 1 tsp Epsom salt every week for a couple weeks then back of to 1/4 tsp per week and find you a well balanced fertilizer and start some light feeds... low EC/ppm doses

do you already have fertilizer? or will you be buying something?

fox farm is great quality soil... but not at all a "super soil"

its a bit hot for a sprout but perfectly fine for an established plant

as a rule... you might get 3 to 4 weeks (depending on pots size) after each up pot where you wont require fertilizer inputs

so figure to starting light feeds about 3 weeks after your last up-pot

Awesome.
1. I don't have any fertilizer now, so I can go and grab some. I know that I have seen FoxFarm nutrients there, and I think General Hydroponics. Do you have a favorite that you personally suggest?
2. What does 'top dress' mean? I mean it when I say i'm new, my house is generally where potted plants come to die.
3. So the white stuff that I saw, that's normal? Not mildew? Are the 'flowers' supposed to look like the one in the picture?

Damn I have a shit ton to learn!
Many thanks!

I don't see any signs of mildew and as a rule you try not to spray plants with anything when theres that much bud on it

what you gotta do is eliminate or prevent those types pests before flowers form
I don't spray my plants after week 3 of 12/12 (you got auto flower so youd have to figure out your timing)

I am not a fan of the fox farm nutes

anything genral hydropinc is good
the most cost effective would be the maxigrow/maxibloom dry powder

the floranova and flora grow are absolutely great all in one liquids that contain aminos, kelp, fulvic acids ...its a true all in one fertilizer

either of the above are good choices and are complete well rounded fertilizers, you wont need or want anything else in the way of fertilizer...

top dress means you just sprinkle the dry powder on the soil before you water it

the maxigrow and maxibloom feed (I would suggest a scale for dry powder)

veg full strength per gallon
4 to 6 grams maxi grow

bloom full strength per gallon 50/50 mix equal portion of each
2 to 3 grams maxigrow
2 to 3 grams maxibloom

late bloom (optional; last 2 weeks) per gallon
4 grams maxibloom only

floragrow and flora nova

veg full strength per gallon
6 to 8mls per gallon floragrow

bloom full strength per gallon
6 to 8 mls per gallon floranova

super easy to mix and you don't have to buy or measure and mix 6 bottles that have bad instructions leading to nothing but trouble

Ordering the Flora line now. Pretty sure they're going to need water tomorrow so I'll start the Espom then. Just sprinkle 1 tsp on soil top and water. Check. I should do this every time I water for a couple weeks? Or just once a week? Now I just need to figure out when my autos go from veg to bloom. (obviously the one is in bloom now) The other, blue cheese auto, is 52 days in and still hasn't started flowering. Everything I've read say their supposed to start flowering by week 5. I'm wondering if I should switch her to 12/12. And if I do, will that adversely affect the one already flowering?? WOW! one problem at a time I guess. Only have one tent. Got any ideas on that one? :wall:
Roger on the edit, Were you referring to the Flora line here?

one time per week on the Epsom

as for the auto timing,,, I don't grow and have never grown autos so I cant really tell you much about the timing

Shit, I don't know if it matter or not but I forgot that I also sprinkled in some Mycorrhizae to my dirt when I planted.

if getting the floranova id only give the Epsom 2 weeks in a row 1x per week and then maybe 1/4 to 1/2 tsp every 2 or 3 weeks

the floraline has a decent source for magnesium so youll need to use the Epsom less often (after you've got the def corrected )

when its time
youll feed like this

wateronly....fert .....water only....fert....wateronly....fert

if they look hungry fert more frequent
if they look over done fert every third instead of evey other

make sure you getting good run off (20%) when you water

so if you add 1 gallon to the top you want to see something like 2.5 cups to come out the bottom of the pot each time you water or fertilize

make sure your buying the floranova...that's what weve been talking about...not to be confused with te flora 3part

don't get caught up in the sales hype

if your using the floranova grow/floranova bloom you don't need to be buying additives or bloom boosters

it already contains whats good = kelp, amino, fuvic ect....

Will be receiving the Floranova grow/bloom tomorrow. Watered and top dressed with the Epsom yesterday morning, also put them on 12/12 to see if I can get the other to start flowering. Wouldn't surprise me if I was the lucky recipient of a non auto-ing auto.
I am attaching pic.'s from today as an update. It's looking pretty sad. Was hoping the Epsom would perk it up.
