snow white 001.jpgsnow white 002.jpgsnow white 003.jpgsnow white 004.jpgMy plant is curling up like a canoe. The leave are curling under at the tips and the sides. I am in 65w fluorex and she is about a month and a half into veg from seed. I am using coco and watering to waste and I am using Fox Farm grow big and cannazymes enzymes and bio root. The grow big I am using heaving feeding cause my leaves were not green they were a yellow green. everything else I am using regular feeding. Can some one help me figure it out. I have a plant right next to it that I am feeding the excat same nutes and she looks great no problems. PLEASE HELP:sad:

Blanching of leaf tips is next along with more severe sharkstoothing. Lay off the nutrients as it is nitrogen overload. If not using nutes it is still nitrogen overload. Water only for a while and keep going. Don't overwater. All the light you can give it and keep lots of air moving.

My ph is at a 6.0 she just started doing this about 4 days ago and it looks like it is on newer groth and I am feeding it out of the jug with the same nutes and ph level as my bubble gum the plant that is right next to it and she is thriving and the snow white is looking pretty good itself other then the curl.

Thank you hotrodharley I was thinking that it might be too much nutes but i was not sure I read something similer so i will try that so NO Nutes at all for at least one or two waterings? I feed every 3 to 4 days when they start ti feel light.

You shouldn't feed coco just water it messes with ion exchange your better off feeding at quarter strength till things get better then up is slowly you usually don't want full strength.

Just to be clear I am not feeding my plant coco I am growing in coco grow as my medium. I do not have a hydro system but I feed and water to waste. I water/feed my veging plants once every 3 to 4 days and I water/feed my flowering plants every day. So I should not just give them water but water with 1/4 strength nutes?

Bud Brewer, so should it be now or at their regular feeding time 3 days from now? If I dont hear something here shortly I am going to refeed cause I am worried about leaving it to take in the heavy feeding for the next 3 days so if i should wait please respond asap thank you.

You should be feeding every time you water the veg plants every day or every other day coco likes to stay moist.

Coco doesn't have nutes so when you just add water it leaches the nutes out of the medium so the leaves can yellow then next you feed and the nitrogen is a shock causing leaf curl.

Coco is hydro not soil so treat it as such always feed coco to avoid cal/mag and ph issues and the high low swings that mess with the ion exchange.

I use coco instead of peat in my soil mix about 50% coco 30% compost 10% peat based soil 10% floor dry/perlite.

I treat it like a hybrid and still feed homemade organic nutes every time.

The trick is working out the amounts and that changes as they get bigger .
