Does anything come out of the bag ready to use? I was thinking of switching from soil but this is a lot of work.first you take the coco and break it down into a bucket , then use clean water ( I use Reverse osmosis)
let it soak for a while, I do sometimes 2-3 hours and sometimes overnight. Repeat this 3 times total.
Now re submerge your coco. "Charge" the coco with the normal amounts of nutrients especially cal-mag. The cal-mag is very important! The coco steals the cal-mag and things change alot during this part. You also want the other nutrients in there. I usually end up around 1.5-2.0 EC
after this stabilizes ( I wait another night maybe) I usually now have to pH up it. I do this to 6.0 then wait for it to restabilize... after this strain it out and its good to use!

Ok I thought this was a normal process. This is just your way to be sure it’s how you want. Go it thanksThis expains coco pretty well. They say stuff like canna coco is ready to go, but to be safe, I do it all over again myself at home
The mix part I completed same, but the charge I was unaware of. My plants are potted. Nutes have been drawn up and hand fed top down. I'm guessing it's charged now? Still dialing in pH runoff. I've never looked at EC closel will add to the list.first you take the coco and break it down into a bucket , then use clean water ( I use Reverse osmosis)

I ordered canna coco and it is very nice quality. Even though it says its prerinsed and buffered it still needs to be done IMO

May tops this starter pack out in late May... See how it goes.
