are you not suppose to trim the bud leaves while its wet? wouldnt less leaves be better cuz of all the cloryphil or whatever they have in them

Before i chopped it was smelling real sweet, almost like candy. I dont know if thats the same smell it will maintain when done but im looking forward to it.
