curing questions, and STICKY fan leaves?

So just a couple questions about curing. I dont have a hydrometer so im not 100% sure when to jar. I dont have very big buds pry thumb width. I let them dry 3 days. The branches bend but dont snap. The buds feel dry but im not sure. I have already over dried an oz and I dont want to do that again. Any suggestions.

Also one of the plants I harvested had mad sticky fan leaves. What should I do with them?

Hygrometer .. What climate you live in? Humid? Dry?
