CURING, is it necessary?

To be honest, when I used to buy weed to smoke, I didn't know whether it was cured or not.
Is it necessary? Is there a huge difference between weed that is simply dried then smoked, and weed that is cured for a couple weeks?

Is weed that isnt cured extremely shitty?

Yes there is a big difference IMO properly cured bud will have a much better taste and high, it is definitly worth the time it takes to do. Dried uncured bud isn't going to be shitty unless its shitty weed to begin with, it just wont have the same high and will taste like chlorophyll.

Yeah what he said^^

IF you cure it your smoke will be smoother, more potency, and better flavor.

Easier to break down etc. but its just better to do in gen.
:peace:

Min for me is 2 weeks but I try to cure for atleast a month, but I will admit I take a few buds to smoke on as it cures if I don't have anything else to smoke.

i find if you use a burlap sack to cure your buds in it will have a much smoother smoke and you will be able to taste the bud... nothing else... and maybe thrrow in an orange slice or 2 ... but remember to change them so you dont get bugs lol...

weed cures like a fine wine ages..... you wanna drink md 20/20?
i would sday it depends man like for instance u say weed cures like a fine wine ages
but bucky for instance is a wine that is sold by popular demand which means there is not enough time to let it age
same as with weed if your sellin dry but dont cure and get rid and get yopur cash fast
but if its personal then cure cure cure make the smoke as best as u can for yourself

Curing does two things - It helps remove the carboxyl group from the /\THC-COOH molecule and it helps to break down the chlorophyll which seriously helps with the flavor.

Minimum 2 weeks... The two plants I harvested last winter I cured for over 3 months (since I had a ton of other bud laying around to get through first)

^^takes away bag appeal and some (if not, all) taste/smell. But if you're lookin for fast buds to smoke, water curing works. Not to mention, it will make it healthier to smoke, gets rid of a lot of unwanted things (like chlorophyll).

man give it the week or two, and even if you're anxious and have a hard time waiting for it to finish you can always pluck a few small buds out during cure to hold you over

4 months is cured at its best supposedly. But no one really does that unless their big growers. But thats how the dutch do it. 3-4 motnsh cure before it hit the shop

most people 2-3 weeks is quite fine
